I had to look this up because I've never tried a corn dog. 'A delicious hot dog surrounded in sweet corn batter and fried to a crispy golden brown' it sounds like a heart attack on a stick, but what the heck I'll have 3 of them!

My roommate in university use to eat these for breakfast.... After that I never wanted to try one.

Oh man it`s been too long since I`ve been at a Sonic. One of those guilty pleasures that`s worth every moment of indulgence.

Damn, that's a sweet deal. There's no limit on these correct? Just want to make sure I don't get banned from sonic.

 

You can order up to 50 at some stores. I have no idea how many orders of 50 is too much. Please report back.

And wash them down with the cherry limeaids.

I think I know where a sonic is close to a tru. Awesome lunch shopping in store for me tomorrow :)

Okay, here's my report back from Sonic yesterday:

 

1. $.50 corn dogs.  No limit.  Ordered 6 for me and my two kids.  Wife had a chicken sandwich.  Really awesome.

2. I washed the 2 corn dogs down with a green apple slush with Nerds candy.  Consider my mind blown - how had this not been discovered before a giant corporation piloted Nerds in a slush?  Maybe I just missed it.

3. Went back for another order of 2 corn dogs, but waited in a slow moving line for 10 minutes until giving up.

 

All in all, what a great meal.  Total came in at just over $19 for an admittedly unhealthy meal for four.  Kudos to Sonic - I will be back to try different Nerd slush flavors...

Sonic...a fine establishment that I wish there were more of in SoCal.  I hate having to drive 45 mins for a coney dog, corn dog, chili cheese fries, flavored slush etc...   Used to be able to find one on every corner back in my hometown.
