Please don't shut this thread down!  I am hyped for Saturday, watching Episodes 1 through 6 (one per night), acquiring SSD's, and wondering how to pay for it all.  This thread is the Caffeine for me without Coffee (but I need that too)...

If these are made in China and shipped globaly I find it hard to believe Lego would still be selling them everywhere else with an ever moving back ship date if there were not more coming.  Why would they sell more to all other regions exept the U.S., the biggest market.  In this case I take "temporarily out of stock" to mean just that.  Does anyone have an example of temporary out of stock that never came back, I can't think of one in the last five years, but don't track that closely.  Marginally if we don't get discounts that match all other regions I am gonna be personally offended as a long time lego shopper.

I did not see the temporary OOS go right to sold out, but if so my theory is garbage and I might pick up the last local few available.

I don't know what Deep Pockets looks like ...or sounds like for that matter. But they work for LEGO, this I'm certain.

I have a higher up Lego contact in their box art design dept. He / she never offered retirement info so I never asked.

All my walmart orders shipped however they split up each SSD into separate shipments. I fear we all know what that means....

Any timing word on the sale list coming through?  I guess it will come out in the next 14-15 hours or just go live at midnight and not be announced!  They seem to be holding this year very close to the vest.  Which will be really strange if there is no "great deals" like Europe got.... But that happens.  My super remote way off guess is the Millennium Falcon half off and it is going EOL.

SSD just popped back in stock at Walmart this morning - lasted about 10 minutes or so.  I was able to get an order in.  Its back to oos now.

Meanwhile some crazy s*** is going on in Europe.

to be honest, not a SW fan yet, but my SW collection is getting bigger and bigger... all those *-Wings are just so hard to resist...

When you search for SSD on walmart.com it no longer finds it.

This happens practically for all "currently OOS" items at Walmart

Now that everyone who wants a SSD has one, who will be left to buy them after retirement?  Ok, not everyone.  I'm sure there are at least 10 people who didn't buy one before it sold out.
