I think that a lot of investors feared that the SSD would become the new Death star (staying in the place for ever), and prefered to wait for real signs of retirement.

You mean when it was not available and having a 'retired' status slapped on it? ;)

You all can come to Holland and pick it up for only 320 euro ;-).. Great to know it is already retired in the US, makes life easy knowing it's not going to be 'an old dog that just won't die'.

You are welcome. Unfortunately, besides being banned by my wife, I cannot buy them cause I always get derailed to the German Intertoys automatically. I have no access to the Dutch one. And on the German one it is not on sale

I think you're right. I believe a central stock is in Holland.Mine also get shipped from there.
