I'm planning to grab a few of these to stash away for a rainy day. What's peoples opinion on the investment future of this set? Certain winner?

With the Ninjago movie in the works, I think it's a safe bet most of the line will become that much more valuable.

It's amazing how Ninjago has grown into this powerhouse toy line in just a few short years.  I think the first run of sets were released in late 2011.  Here we are in mid-2013 and it's one of TLG's top three selling themes.

Living proof that not every success lies with the licensed themes alone.

Keep an eye out on amazon......also it drops regularly at Walmart,at least the ones around my area anyway.

Stopped in at my local Walmart this morning. This set had a clearance tag and was marked down 50%. Not sure on the interest in the community on this one but I don't think you can go wrong at half price.

Yeah they don't have any of those . Also had a box with 58 packs of Lego movie CMF for 2 bucks a pack. Took them + the box
