July 21Jul 21 How's everybody feeling about the Lego market? Sales are by far as slow as I've ever seen them in 10+ years.
July 21Jul 21 I'm about $3,000 less than last julys sales but I haven't been trying to sell anything either.
July 21Jul 21 It's weird, I'm down about 50% from last year, but even with the recent Amazon issues July is probably going to be my busiest month of the year so far. I haven't reduced prices either to sell through stuff, don't know what's going on.

July 22Jul 22 Did anyone put together a master list of which Lego products are being ripped from Amazon? I assume individually we only know the ones we "have listed already". Have a bunch of stuff I'm waiting for the 4th quarter but maybe I should be unloading now . . .

It is pretty much alt listings, gwp and exclusives ( target, walmart, etc ) that Amazon.com never sold.
July 22Jul 22 There are ASINS falling off the list. A few sets but many are CMFs and foil/paper bags (these have never had UPCs) ... so there is a glimmer of hope something will change.

July 28Jul 28 What does everyone do for FBA discrepancy when purchased through retail? Has anyone successfully used Walmart and Target receipts for reimbursement? Edited July 28Jul 28 by Bricklectic

Rather questioning my ungating status if my receipt shows Walmart. In general, all submitted invoices are part of your permanent record. Anytime amazon wants to conduct a wave of new gating they can look at the body of your submissions. Not sure if this thought process is paranoia or smart

Not sure if this thought process is paranoia or smart I don’t think you really need to worry about that. Amazon knows that there are no legitimate distributors of Lego as per their policy. but yes , anything you submit to Amazon is there forever. I know ppl getting caught submitting the same invoice that they submitted years ago and just changed the date on it

I thought these were due to chaos in large organization like Amazon causing 1 department not seeing what others are doing. In 2025, looks to me like Amazon's goal is to destroy or at least thoroughly minimize its 3rd party selling platform. There have been too many changes pointing to coordinated effort on Amazon's part. Their middle management have to be so incompetent as to not see the near term impacts these changes to pricing, FBA fulfillment, returns, erc will have to their bottom lines. Although I could be completely wrong and this is just a rambling from an old man 😛

The reimbursement change alone is sure to yield them hundreds of millions of dollars each year with a simple stroke of a pen.
July 31Jul 31 makes sense. the small amounts they make from small sellers doesnt justify the reputational and legal costs. They are aiming to streamline their business to a leaner core of very large 3p sellers with vetted supply lines seems to me.

The pivot to larger 3ps would spell the end for smaller sellers like me all the same.
