Can anyone share with me their experiences with selling on Amazon.   I sold some stuff years ago and am now thinking of listing some items on there again.  I know their policies and prices have changed.  I am getting tired of the ebay fees and more the people purchasing on there trying to scam.  I am wondering if it makes sense to sell and ship self, or if there is a way to send them all items and fulfill for you.  What are the cost benefits or lack off from either way.

Thanks for any information or experiences.

@exciter1 I was locked out most of the morning and I'm back in now.

I might be a preferred route option as well. I guess the issues are on AWS-East and some folks might still be logged into AWS-West.

saw the dashboard and then it disappeared with the error message popping up again.

I just got that a strange message from Amazon customer support asking me to contact a buyer to address her concerns with regard to shipment with her FBA order. Looks like the Amazon customer support agent she spoke to could not figure out this was an FBA order ? Seems like something was really going wrong earlier today with Amazon.

working again...just printed a label.

Not sure how to fix the order that did not have a label though.

pretty sure it has everything to do with the AWS outage . I haven't sold anything in 3 hours and counting but some of my inventory count is going down so I am assuming it is sales that isn't reflecting yet.

yea, I notice a few items that I ship are no longer active because the inventory count is 0 but I have not seen the orders yet.  It's also not showing as pending.

is anyone able to print the shipping labels?

I was able to print off a few earlier... now it's back to unable to refresh.  Like others, I too can see inventory dwindling but no recorded pending sales.

Fear of no sales these last few hours has caused me a great deal of pain and suffering.  I'm another 30 min from calling Jackie Chiles.

Same.

for FBM, I would not change your inventory just in case.

You don't want to over sell.

Sales have started again.

for me only the business orders came through

The only thing order related I received so far was from someone asking to ship to a different address on an order I haven’t received it . I told her to cancel and resubmit 🤷🏽‍♂️

Didn't know BP was down

I only see FBA orders, not a single FBM since I posted about the issue before noon , tomorrow's packing will be rough

dropped off what I managed to print labels for today and both USPS office and UPS stores said things were oddly slow today.

Interesting.  I was able to print one label this morning and now I just got back and it says it was never shipped.

It should be fine . It will resolve itself once this mess clears. I just gave up on doing anything at this point

Ditto...this should be interesting....rest up tonight, gonna be busy tomorrow!

While I’m sure seller central will come back online at some point, can you imagine what it’s like in the warehouses right now since their fulfillment software went down as well? I can’t imagine how they’re going to be able to manage to make up this amount of lost time during peak holiday buying.
