Can anyone share with me their experiences with selling on Amazon.   I sold some stuff years ago and am now thinking of listing some items on there again.  I know their policies and prices have changed.  I am getting tired of the ebay fees and more the people purchasing on there trying to scam.  I am wondering if it makes sense to sell and ship self, or if there is a way to send them all items and fulfill for you.  What are the cost benefits or lack off from either way.

Thanks for any information or experiences.

On one hand USPS is STILL a dumpster fire and it is only going to get worse for Christmas

On the other hand amazon FBA warehouses are also a huge mess and can't deal with the inventory they have

On third hand the shipping bottleneck is going to lead to a ton of toy shortages this Christmas even if the USPS and amazon logistics were normal

since this weekend i no longer see first class as a shipping option on any of my smaller set listings.  i can ship the items parcel post or priority but not first class.

not sure if others are seeing this but with looming downgrade in first class shipping on october 1 - https://www.businessinsider.com/us-postal-service-slow-first-class-mail-deliveries-dejoy-cuts-2021-8 - possibly a glitch on my account or amazon taking the preemptive step to cutoff first class?

First class has already slowed down. I guess they decided not to wait till October 1, but roll it out anyway. Delays of upto 5-7 days now compared to last year or earlier this year. I did read somewhere that this was under a pilot program at busy post offices. I guess my local PO is one such.

I generated a First Class label from the Amazon shipping options just fine yesterday.

I've shipped dozens of first class from Amazon in the past couple days.

Question from a noob. I just got approved to sell via Amazon, and had the immediate slap in the face reality that I have no feedback and I am buried haha.

Would it be smart to go through FBA for a few sets for some feedback growth?

Feedback % on amazon is anemic . Exocet 2-4% average. Not a bad idea to do fba just make sure you know how it works

Feedback doesn’t really matter in terms of the buybox with FBA. Just price your sets accordingly. I’ve moved close to 300 units this year, I’m very small time. I’ve only gotten one single feedback post.

Anyone have a link to Halloween Owl?  It was there before but now I can't find it.  And was there ever one for Spider & Haunted House?  I don't remember 🤪

Can some of you let me know if this link is accessible?  I've opened a case with the idiots at seller central and they say it can be opened.  Just needing to know how many people can successfully open this link:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08KHZ7146

Or, if you're hesitant to open a link, just search for ASIN B08KHZ7146.  I appreciate it.

perhaps they are seeing the other nutcracker 40254. The ASIN you referenced comes up in the Add a product page, but clicking on that link (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B08KHZ7146) results in the error page..

The bot might have identified it as dup to 40254 and removed it.  Whoever created B08KHZ7146 should have put 40425 on the title.  Calling it LEGO Nutcracker was just a tad lazy IMHO.

It does have the correct UPC & EAN though...

Mystery solved.  Thanks for the info guys.  I spoke with one of the few competent associates and they said it is marked with a launch date of October 1.  He then said I can validate that by clicking on the link which, obviously, didn't work.  So I have no idea how I'm supposed to validate it, but it appears this item will be 'live' on 10/1.

Amazon gave me a 96 hour hall pass to list Lego brand products, so I added a few exclusives that weren't in the catalog.  If you have any that you want posted, PM them to me and I'll see what I can do.  Include the UPC, please.

Is it only for legos??

Amazon just requested proof of liability insurance because I reached 10k sales for this year. A response is required within 30 days.

I haven't been requested to provide proof in the past. Just a heads up if this hasn't been mentioned previously.

Do they insure inventory as well? I do have insurance for my warehouse. Didn't have business liability added to it however.

The requirement is for $10,000 or more sales per month not per year. For those sellers who make most of their annual sales in Oct/Nov/Dec this limit can be easily exceeded.
