Anybody else get a lovely Amazon email: "Important information about Toysjust now?

It's about 30 ASINs, all LEGO, only a small portion of the ASINs I'm stocking (FBA). I haven't chased down a "A document confirming that your product was tested according to the standard listed in the following table by a laboratory that is certified to the ILAC ISO 17025 standard" before, but... Looks like I'll need to.

Anyone else?

Yep, I got the same thing. I'm trying to figure out the right thing to submit.  It should be the same for all Lego products, right?

Yep got it, panicked. I did a quick search and found this link:

https://www.lego.com/en-us/aboutus/lego-group/product-safety/

You can get certificates for most sets it looks like. I couldn't find one for Milano vs. the Abelisk (76081) but all the other ASIN's I got queried about in the email were there. So I guess I'll be sending a bunch of emails to [email protected]. What a pain!

Same email with 7 ASINs (3 still in stock in my inventory)

it seem like they are for toys under age of 12.

BTW, I have no idea what to do

Just got one too. Thanks for the lego link as it helped to solve my issue with set 31058. Also, do we just reply back to the email that they sent? It didn't look like there was an email address they specifically wanted us to use.

What do you need to give them so they know the email is under your store? Your store name or tax ID?

Awesome!  More hoops to jump through for the honor of giving amz. a huge %.

Thanks for posting that link.  Hopefully this is relatively quick and painless.

Yeah I got it to for 76080 (Ayesha’s revenge) and 31063 (beachside vacation).

Trying to figure it all out myself.

My concern is that the specific ASTM does not match....ASTM F963-16 /-17 compliance is what Amazon requires, yet that specific category is not mentioned on the certificates. We shall find out!!

If we just remove the listing entirely are we good to go? Will not responding to it affect other listings? I believe I ignored something similar to a few items on the Health & Beauty category and the entire category got gated shortly afterwards.

OK, what do ya think?  Send all ASINs and certificates at once, or separate emails for each?

I am preparing one inclusive email......

So what you doing for the Milano? I have the same one.

Seller ID/ Vendor ID

Clarification anyone?  is that my tax ID? or legal business name as recognized on amazon?

Do we only need to include ASINs that are in the email or all that we sell through Amazon? The email and the help page on Amazon seem to indicate different things.

To find your Seller ID :

Go to one of your listings and hover
mouse over your % feedback link.

Right-click and copy the link location.

Then paste it into a text-edit or email compose.
At the end of the URL will be

https://www.amazon.com984…&seller=XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

The X’s represent an alpha-numeric sequence which identifies the seller.

Got the email too. 3 ASINs, 2 of which I no longer have in inventory and 1 I sold out last month.

Nevertheless, I emailed the forms as you guys highlighted in this thread. I just want to be a good compliant seller...

That being said, I sell other sets with a recommended age below 12 and no safety documents required for those.

It seems that the ASINs I got notified on are older sets. Is it the case for you guys ? Older sets.

Take 31052 listed in that email, age 9 - 14 ? How is that different from Lego City Calendar 60201, age 5 - 12.

And yet 60201 is in my inventory and I am not requested to provide safety document for it, well for now.

Any insights ?

Let's just hope its as easy as submitting the docs and info. According to PhillB the docs were accepted last year. I got the email for 3 discontinued sets and the other 3 for current sets that are inactive on my inventory. Should have deleted those 3. I guess I still would have received this for the other 3...I think.

did anybody get for fbm items or only fba

does anybody have any idea how to get the documents for fisher price toys?

Has anyone else had non-LEGO toy listings disappear from Amazon?

I'm seeing the dreaded "Meet the dogs of Amazon" for a few items.

how are people getting the documents for non lego toy items (those that you cannot get from the link posted here)

The newer set, like 41615 as an example , is test to ASTM F963-16.

For a set that was manufactured in say 2016, the then-current F963 standard at 2016 probably was not ASTM F963-16 but ASTM F963-11
