Amazon changed something with my account. Until a week ago, I was getting the buy box consistently on several products, but for the last seven days, my buy-box instances have literally been 0. I did some tests by lowering my price way below the buy-box price, but I am still not ever getting the buy box. Has anyone here had this happen before?

Amazon is probably saying you have not forked enough money to them

this is a new one,, Looks like Lego might be going after euro listings

We have deactivated the listings shown at the bottom of this email.

Why is this happening?

We have taken this measure because we suspect your listing for this product infringes on the intellectual property of others. The listing of this product uses the protected copyright image of a rights owner on its product detail page. 21172 euro listing

Hi everyone,
I just received an email from Amazon titled “Action Required: Your Listings Are at Risk of Deactivation.”

It’s flagged as a Suspected Intellectual Property Violation  — apparently because the title included the term "The Mandalorian." I’ve already edited the listing to remove the trademarked term, but it says changes may take up to 48 hours to update. The notice says I need to address this issue by August 25.

I'm concerned this won’t be enough, and I’ve read that deleting the listing doesn’t remove the violation from account health.

Has anyone dealt with this before?
What else can I do to get this issue removed from my account?

Thanks in advance!

My violations have been disappearing pretty quickly.

Thanks for the reply! Just to clarify — did you take any additional steps, or did the violations clear on their own after you updated or removed the listing?

Appreciate the insight!

It just disappeared after removing the listing. No additional steps.

Thanks for the info! I read on the Amazon forums that Suspected Intellectual Property Violations might not be removed even if the listing is deleted, which is why I’m a bit concerned.

Was your violation also for “Suspected Intellectual Property” — specifically trademark misuse?

Under the “Resolve” section, I only have an “Edit” button available, so I removed “The Mandalorian” from the title, but I’m not sure if that’ll be enough.'

Does it violate Amazon policy for a seller to sell an item on Amazon and fulfill the order by purchasing it from another seller on ebay (dropshipping)?  The best info I could find is this from a link I found to Amazon seller central:  "Purchasing products from a third party, including Amazon or another seller in Amazon’s stores, and having that third party ship directly to customers, if the shipment does not identify you as the seller of record or if anyone other than you (including the third party) appears on packing slips, invoices, or external packaging, it is strictly prohibited without exception".

I don't have an Amazon seller account so I'm not sure if this is still accurate.

Yes, that’s a big no no and a huge policy violation.

It's a violation. And many eBay sellers are terrible at packing items and/or shipping on time. Amazon probably doesn't want customers receiving orders in diaper boxes with old newspaper as void filler.

"Drop Shipping Policy

Drop shipping, or allowing a third-party to fulfill orders to customers on your behalf, is not acceptable unless it is clear to the customer that you are the seller of record. The following examples of drop shipping are policy violations that may result in a restriction of your ability to sell using Amazon’s Merchant Fulfilled Network (MFN):

  • Purchasing products from a third party, including Amazon or another seller in Amazon’s stores, and having that third party ship directly to customers, if the shipment does not identify you as the seller of record or if anyone other than you (including the third party) appears on packing slips, invoices, or external packaging, it is strictly prohibited without exception; or
  • Shipping orders with packing slips, invoices, external packaging, or other information indicating a seller name or contact information other than your own is also strictly prohibited.

Any time a customer sees packaging, invoices, or receipts identifying a seller that is not you it creates confusion for the customer about how their order is being fulfilled and whom they should contact with any problems or questions.

If you intend to fulfill orders using another company’s fulfillment service, a third-party logistics company, or a drop shipper, you must always:

  • Have an agreement with your supplier where you are the only seller of record and the only entity identified as the seller of your products on all packing slips, invoices, external packaging, or any other information included or provided in connection with the products;
  • Remove any packing slips, invoices, external packaging, or other information identifying a different seller or third-party supplier prior to shipping the order; and
  • Remain responsible for accepting and processing customer returns, and always comply to the: Business Solutions Agreement (BSA) and applicable Amazon policies."

And before I sold on Amazon, as an ebay seller I made absolutely sure to put an invoice in every one of those packages so the Amazon buyer knew they got hosed. Sometimes I even wrote them a note.

Amazon completely removed my Featured Offer eligibility, so I'm not eligible to even be considered for the buy box at all. I am guessing this might be related to all the ASIN creation policy violations that Amazon recently sent out. I contacted Amazon Seller Support, but they aren't helpful; they say they can't tell me what factors have caused me to become ineligible. Is this happening to anyone else or just lucky little me? This has been devastating to my sales. I've sold four items in the past two weeks, which is an unprecedented low.

I’m still eligible . Most of the time it is just temporary

Even FBA items?

I am doing only FBM at the moment, but I was consistently getting the buy box with several FBM items until Amazon removed my eligibility for Featured Offer. I'll probably try FBA again to see if that restores eligibility.

Anyone able to find 40493 - Spider & Haunted House on Amazon?  I have a few to sell, but I'm not seeing a listing for it.  It's been a while since I've tried to add a set;  are we peasants still able to do so (in case it is indeed does not have a listing)?

Yeah.  I saw that.  This is asinine and all, but what I really wanna know is how are these still live on other Amazon pages?  If sales are not allowed because of IP policy violations, is Amazon guilty of allowing intellectual property infringement on its other websites?  Seriously, how can these two things be mutually true?  Either it is not an IP violation and needs to be reversed or Amazon is guilty of allowing it on its other pages.  When I asked this question to the random Indian support person, I was thanked for contacting them and the conversation terminated.
