January 9, 201510 yr Author very nice display. I like how you've added more supports over time. That's lots of weight now Yep...at first I was worried about aesthetics and then had to just start putting a support on every stud. It should be good, fingers crossed.
January 13, 201510 yr Looks great with the detective agency. I just finished my complete set and im deciding how to display them. Also need to work on modifying the Haunted House to fit in there as well.
January 14, 201510 yr Set the modulars up to look like a street scene. (Modulars on both sides of street) Would be very cool.
January 14, 201510 yr Something like this; it was taken before I wrapped the modulars around my Christmas Tree.
January 14, 201510 yr Author When I see them in that arrangement, I wonder if the next will be a corner.
January 14, 201510 yr Author Great job Bernard! I never expected to have all of them when I got into this two years ago. Keep hustling, making trades, and selling and you won't believe the sets you will have!
January 14, 201510 yr I don't plan on building on both sides of the street, think that'll obstruct the view too much. What I have in mind is more of a square layout with this being the northside. Ok, which one next...
January 14, 201510 yr Am I the only one that doesnt like to connect the pet shop? I love it disconnected and on both sides of the fire brigade.
January 17, 201510 yr got a question for you guys. if you could only buy one modular out of Cafe Corner, Green Grocer, or Market Street which one would you buy? (for display purposes not for investing) Edited January 17, 201510 yr by vexxet
January 17, 201510 yr Author For me, Cafe Corner but if you care about the interior, maybe Green Grocer.
January 17, 201510 yr For me, Cafe Corner but if you care about the interior, maybe Green Grocer. for now im using PC and GE for corners... not really sure how i want to display it or where im going with it actually... lol. Green Grocer over Market? I was thinking that too for sure. Market was the first modular right? ive heard just because that it is overrated.
January 17, 201510 yr Sauromosis - nicely done! I have almost the exact same shelf setup. I made & stained them myself, and used what looks to be the exact same brackets. Did you get yours from Home Depot?
January 17, 201510 yr Nice, that is a LOT better. Now get some better lighting and it would be perfect. Edited January 17, 201510 yr by Follows Closely

Though some concider GG the true second because Market Street was designed by a Lego Fan and not TLG themselves. If you want to buy one of these early three and are finding it hard to make your mind up, I would say Green Grocer simply because you can get it cheaper.
January 17, 201510 yr ^ and GG is the best. With CC a close second. Then there is MS, not even close.

(for display purposes not for investing) Cafe Corner without a doubt... I miss the first two only. I'm Dutch and live here, and am still kicking myself for not buying that one when it was in the store. I'm looking for one as well, but want it all; box, instructions and all bricks of course, and in good shape. That translates too way too expensive for my wallet... It makes me sad...
