  •   My son likes them and has all of series 1-3.  He has opened most of them but not all.  The other day I told him that he could get $100 if he sold just the red, yellow and black guys.  He

$4 each is $36 a set, a little more depending on tax. They all fit in a $6 flat rate padded USPS envelope. So $42-$45 cost out the door. Even at $60 you will clear $10 after fees. I can complet

  •   I certainly didn't complain about Meijer deals.  I don't see how they are any different than Fry's, or Fred Meyer, or any other regional store.  Totally appropriate for the DD.  I'm quit

I grab the display boxes whenever I see them at the store and use them as my shopping basket, even if I'm buying other toys. Cashiers never care if u want to keep the box. Less work for them.

Any value to them outside of storage value?

I'm looking for 1 spare "Flain" from series 1 if someone could PM me!

It's for my son (really) - since I missed the window on series 1 and haven't been able to find him.

Okay, I just finished up inventorying my sets, and I don't have any extra Flain's around.  Sorry about that!

series 3 came out in sept and is basically gone already.  i don't expect the last 2 to last thru christmas.  these things are extremely popular.  series 4 looks great and the glow in the dark, what a bonus.  i think those 3 will be the hot ones of series 4 along with 3 new infernites to group with the originals.  maybe a 2nd option max mixel or whatever they are called will come about in the instructions using all 6 infernites.

As a new member, and someone who didnt know what Mixels were before yesterday, how are series 2&3 selling as compared to series 1? Are we seeing less or more interest, or is it staying about even? would it be wise to invest in series 4 when it releases?

I just rooted through about 15 boxes of series 3 mixels and found a zorch! Not too shabby. So I went ahead and picked up a set of purple and a set of green for later and added the arctic scout polybag free. Putting scout and zorch up for sale now.

what store has 15 boxes (cases?) of mixels laying around? and who is giving out the arctic scout polybag?

TRU is giving out free Arctic Scouts w/ a $30 LEGO purchase.

Series 4 is my favorite too.  How can this series not be a huge hit?  Hopefully it will kick-up the desirability for the previous series.

It's Toys R Us handing out the arctic bags.

And the store location is in the Philly area. They still have lots of series 3 Mixels there, but I picked out the only earlier one. When I was there earlier they also had what looked like most of a box of Simpsons minifigures.

Thanks!

It's not Flain or another $30 bag, but I'll take what I can get, especially as a beginner with all this.

I wonder, if they're going to put out more members of each tribe (ex: Infernites), if they are also going to put out instructions for a 6-mega mixel?

How about when the entire line of Mixels is finally done they come out with the instructions for the super, duper, crazy, monster, mega, OMG mixel supreme!  The mother of all mixels that eats tower bridges and rides the SSD like the silver surfer!

We'd need to add a sound brick to it that sings 'everything is awesome'.

What has been the cheapest price you guys have seen these go for? At Lego shop they go $3.97 before EOL?

LEGO Shop at Home and The Lego Stores did have Series 2 at 20% off just before retirement.  But some people were finding Series 3 for 32 cents at Meijer last week.

You mean like a Mixelzord or Mixeltron? I support this. Muchly.
