July 28, 201411 yr Much like how three characters from Series 1 premiered at last year's Comic-Con, here we have three more starting next year with Series 4. It would appear that out of a group of nine that three are part of a space tribe, another three in a demon/imp/goblin tribe, and a final trio from a bat tribe. The original $4.99 price point has been maintained and these are scheduled for release by February. via The Brick Fan 41529 - Nurp-Naut 41532 - Burnard 41533 - Globert
September 1, 201411 yr These are awesome, all of the Mixels that is. I haven`t built all of them, but most, and honestly can`t find very much if any faults with them. Great concept, excellent price point, the more the merrier!
September 1, 201411 yr My son absolutely loves them and will likely collect them all. He especially loves getting all 3 so he can build the larger combination mixel
September 4, 201411 yr If you can find Series 1 in the wild still, pick these up. I've been flipping set after set the last couple of days. TRU seems to have some still. I'm buying them out. They are selling for more than 2x RRP, which isn't bad for a freshly retired set. I've got plenty socked away for later, but they're so easy to sell right now, I can't resist the flip.

No shame in quick flipping. I've been cleaning out any I can find in the wild and selling them off with little turnaround. That being said, I'm keeping a few for the holidays and beyond. If the 2015 Mixels continue to be successful, the first series will likely continue to increase in value.
October 3, 201411 yr so will series 2 (and eventually series 3) see the same success as series 1 has?
October 3, 201411 yr We will see. I ordered 10 of all of them a couple of weeks ago and I am saving them for Christmas time to see if I can make some good money flipping them.
October 3, 201411 yr I'm waiting just a few more days before heavily investing in Series 2. I will be using Series 2 to pick up the Bricktober sets at TRU.
November 15, 201411 yr i love all three of them. Personally, I think these are a win. In past series, I've found at least a couple (or an entire set) that I was just 'meh' on. These all really work well for me.
November 15, 201411 yr They will continue to be popular and pretty fun characters. It is a kid's MOCing dream. I do believe we will see more sets produced and they'll be more sought by investors so the quick returns may temper somewhat. I think they're pretty cool myself.

November 15, 201411 yr Author Something to add, the Infernites here extend the first three from Series 1 meaning we will now have six of those fiery buggers which could make the originals worth even more as a collection perhaps. Another thing is the Glowies having glow-in-the-dark pieces of course and who doesn't love that stuff? Oh and the Orbitronz seem to be rather inspired by Buzz Lightyear with that color scheme.
November 15, 201411 yr So those are officially infernites. I wondered if they were just another very similar tribe. That is interesting. Wonder if that could mean they will extend the popular ones, maybe more blues in the future etc. These are all awesome, tough to pick out what looks to be the best for sure. Glow in the dark guys are my first extinct but space guys right up there.
November 15, 201411 yr Author Wonder if that could mean they will extend the popular ones, maybe more blues in the future etc.The thought has crossed my mind in possibly seeing extensions of older tribes. Perhaps in Series 5 we could see more Cragsters aka the black/gray dudes.
November 15, 201411 yr Said it before and will keep saying it, these are great little sets! Excellent concept and the price point is perfect. This batch looks fantastic, just like the previous 3, can`t wait to pick them up.
November 15, 201411 yr Well, I've got a ton of the red tribe from Series 1....looks like there's some bundle opportunities coming up.
November 15, 201411 yr Well, I've got a ton of the red tribe from Series 1....looks like there's some bundle opportunities coming up. I've been selling many Series 1 red tribe sets for $40 a pop.
November 15, 201411 yr I've been selling many Series 1 red tribe sets for $40 a pop. I've honestly just been lazy about putting any of my individual sets up. I could be happy for $40 a pop.
November 15, 201411 yr I'm looking for 1 spare "Flain" from series 1 if someone could PM me! It's for my son (really) - since I missed the window on series 1 and haven't been able to find him.

November 15, 201411 yr I have to reinventory my Mixels. I move them around into sets, smaller sets and individuals too much. I will look and see what I've got.
