Selling lego in bulk, what colors not?

Featured Replies

Howdy, I'm in the process of selling a lot of lego in bulk ( ~7 kilo) and i'm wondering if there are any colors that I should leave out? (Brown, darkgrey, transparant,...?)

Got it. If you are going to spend the time to pull out one color than separate the whole lot by color and sell each color individually. If not, than just sell by weight.

It depends on what your goal is. More money & more time, or less money & less time. Basically there are three options you can take: selling each piece individually on a BrickLink/BrickOwl store, finding out exactly which sets are in the lot and sell the sets individually, or sort pieces by color and sell in lots. There are several other topics that have answered this question, so please try to do a bit of research using the search bar at the top right, so we don't have too many repeat topics.

If Alcarin has translated correctly, you can consider selling complimentary/similar colors in groups - they look nice in the photo and I've found they sell well that way.

The last time I did it I had reds, oranges and yellows in one lot; greens and blues in another, black and gray and white in a third, etc.
