Not shipping to Third Party Shipping Vendors

Featured Replies

Hi everyone! I live in Brisbane, Australia and have a shipping address with a third party shipping vendor in the US. Just to give you an example, #2734 retails for $4.99 in the US and 11.69 AUD in Australia. Pricing here is ridiculous. Anyway, LEGO today informed me that they have cancelled my orders and will not ship to third parties. Thought you would want to know. Cheers Riffollo

Sorry to hear this. I have heard there are people out there using a similar method to scam Lego. I think it is called drop shipping but I'm not sure. I believe there is an article somewhere in the forum about it. Basically the scammer uses a fake or stolen credit card and purchases a set and has it shipped directly to their buyer. I'm not sure how it all works but maybe this is why they cancelled the order. I guess Lego is just trying to cover their butts. Hopefully you can figure out a way to order in the future. Best of luck.

I agree with this.

Hello! I'm in Canada, near Vancouver on the west coast and live very close to the US border. I use a third party shipping vendor just across the line called "Ship Happens." Great name! lol Anyways, I was disappointed to find out that Lego.com will no longer ship orders to them. :( This happened during the Lego VIP sale before Christmas, and Lego cancelled my order as well. But I wasn't notified until a few days later and by that time the VIP sale was over..I wasn't pleased obviously. Lego in Canada is 15-25% more expensive than the States, but sounds like it's even more expensive where you are! I notice other larger US online shops (non Lego) have also stopped shipping to third parties as well. I'm sure there's lots of reasons for this, but now my only real Lego options through US websites are Walmart and Amazon. They both ship to third parties...for now anyways. Take care!
