June 11, 201510 yr I wanted to ask you all what you think about the current sets that are coming out this year in conjunction with Episode 7 that will be released in December. Will all things Star Wars be hot, or only the new sets? I remember reading that the OT sets are the best for investment and not Clone Wars sets or sets of that nature. I am inclined to only invest in OT sets and not all of the other sets that are coming out. Would that be a mistake? I just don't know how crazy people will get once the new movie comes out and if people will buy anything regardless of the type of set just becuase it's Star Wars. Thanks for your time, everyone!Fair question, but everybodys guess on that is as good as yours.I think it really will depend on the sets (and the movies). We haven't seen either yet which makes answering your question pretty tough. Lucky for you we can all just wait 6 month and the sets will still be out ;-) (and we might be able to give more educated guesses).Right now I'd say if the sets are crappy I wouldn't invest. I expect them to be good though. Depending on how good they are I will invest in some. There are Clonewars sets that also have been good investments and OT sets that have performed poorly.OT Sets have the advantage that AFOL feel more attracted to them. But in new AFOL might prefer SW Rebels or Clone Wars or even Episode 7-9.As a rule of thumb: If the set sucks: Don't invest! If the set is awesome (and everybody here is going crazy about it...) invest! My personal guess is that Star Wars will stay a winner for quite some time and I'm still optimistic about the movies!
June 11, 201510 yr Has anyone seen this? Seems that Lego produced a bantha in one of their videos. Could a potential bantha be in a set during the 2016 winter wave? Seems like this is a sneak peak of a big possibility.http://www.groovebricks.com/lego-star-wars-bantha-coming-soon/
June 11, 201510 yr A Lego Bantha set with some sandpeople would be amazing. Was really hoping that the Sandcrawler was going to have one.
June 11, 201510 yr Episode 7 First Order build-able Stormtrooper http://www.ew.com/article/2015/06/11/check-out-first-toys-star-wars-force-awakens?hootPostID=e0cfe1a07b00fc1a17e4d753e0852321
June 11, 201510 yr Those buildable figures have looked really nice so far for the armored characters. Not so sure about the humans though.

June 11, 201510 yr I bet the Lego shooters for these figures miss their target every time too. Stormtroopers are horrible shots.
June 11, 201510 yr Episode 7 First Order build-able Stormtrooper http://www.ew.com/article/2015/06/11/check-out-first-toys-star-wars-force-awakens?hootPostID=e0cfe1a07b00fc1a17e4d753e0852321 That's really cool I'll definitely buy one or two of those
June 11, 201510 yr That's really cool I'll definitely buy one or two of those I will also buy 1 or 10
June 11, 201510 yr Fair question, but everybodys guess on that is as good as yours. Thank you for the thorough response. I guess we'll see in the upcoming months.
June 15, 201510 yr They should not have added the stupid JarJar Bings sounds, I mean it is NOT JarJar Bings... and he is the only Gungan I have ever seen in the movies who makes these ridiculous sounds all the time.
June 23, 201510 yr Teaser for new LEGO The Force Awakens (nothing spectacular though but I thought you might like it). It says: New LEGO Star Wars Sets Experience a whole galaxy full of building/constructing fun with the new LEGO Star Wars Sets. The force awakens in october. Looks like the speeder in the trailer.
July 4, 201510 yr ^^I haven't done a comparison, but this looks like some of the pieces you'll need for the SDCC Superman Action Comics set.
July 4, 201510 yr ^^I haven't done a comparison, but this looks like some of the pieces you'll need for the SDCC Superman Action Comics set. The roof piece of the sdcc set isn't in this one... Unfortunately that's a rare one in any color.
July 6, 201510 yr So, it sounds like on saturday we will finally get to see some of the upcoming sets at SDCC. Do you think they'll usher in the entire wave ? Or just show a few? Finally, something good to look forward to this week. Hopefully they show boxart, minifigures, and sets in full. The sets get released in two months, so it's about that time. It's listed on this page, if you look at the product reveals section:https://www.flickr.com/photos/tormentalous/19468950912
July 8, 201510 yr I hope you guys didn't miss "Star Wars: Droid Tales" last night? Edited July 8, 201510 yr by exciter1
July 8, 201510 yr My favorite line was when Luke didn't recognize the hologram of Anakin. "You didn't look like that five minutes ago." I probably misinterpreted the joke but I took it as a subtle dig on Lucas for messing with the original version.
July 9, 201510 yr Is anyone watching Star Wars: Droid Tales? It's done all cutesy, like Yoda Chronicles, but it is already possibly my favorite show ever.In the first five minutes of the first episode, it lampoons George Lucas for substituting the Anakin image rather than old Darth, puts the other characters to sleep with how boring the Trade Federation and taxation issues were in Phantom Menace, then - best of all - a star destroyer blasts Jar Jar. Twice.Ah, who doesn't love the smell of singed Gungan?
July 11, 201510 yr Here's a nice slide deck of the LEGO displays at Comic Con 2015 and some of the first clear images of the new 75096 - Sith Infiltrator. http://www.rebelscum.com/2015-sdcc/LEGO-2015-San-Diego-Comic-Con-SDCC/default.asp Edited July 11, 201510 yr by exciter1
July 11, 201510 yr $95 for a Sith Infiltrator ? I can put that money towards better sets Also, the buildable Grievous is $35, Vader $30, Obi Wan $25, and the rest $20. Obi Wan's cape costs $5, more than a CMF pack

July 11, 201510 yr Anyone with a good eye care to Comment on wether this infiltrator is better/bigger than the previous?
