I'm thinking more along the lines of getting caught up in the horde mentality.

I was answering lordoflegos question to rdandy as to what I thought rdandy was referring to when he posted "must resist". I made zero reference about what game I'm playing.

Box condition be d****ed.  If you haven't met your goal, you may want to order from Target. EBay status changed to "almost gone". At the current rate, I'd be surprised if the listing makes it through the night.

Not sure what game you guys are trying to play exactly but I hear if you can log into WOPR, Global Thermonuclear War is pretty sweet.

Got my first one yesterday, might have to pick up 2 more today. It's a pretty cool looking set so might need 1 for me to open and build

Do you guys think Warner Bros. wants this off the shelves because of the new movie? I wouldn't want my product to compete with this set.

Maybe the new Batcave exclusive has more to do with it. I guess sets from 3 different franchises of the same theme would be a little confusing.

Has anybody had luck buying two from Target.com and having them shipped to the store in the Lego shipping box? Or do they still throw it in an oversized box/slap a shipping label on the set?

They Still Have The Same chance of damage.  Most of these will be damaged from this point forward.  I'd call it lucky to get a pristine minty fresh one.  I just sent them back a thrashed one with opened seems today.

I've ordered multiples of 2 Tumblers from Target quite a few times in the last few months and never have I received a LEGO shipping box so don't hold your breath.

I have had some luck getting them to ship in lego cases when I have placed a large number of identical orders within a short period of time all going to the same shipping address. Depends on the warehouse tho.
