Ledger's performance as the Joker will likely never be topped—he won an Academy Award, for Pete's sake—and I'd put him up there with Vader and Hannibal as one of the greatest movie villains ever. Ledger's untimely death magnifies his legendary status (James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, and River Phoenix, anyone?) and it means that there is no danger of his Joker being watered down by a lousy sequel. He was one of a kind, the performance was one of a kind, and the minifig will remain one of a kind.

Unless he appears in a £11.99 Super Heroes set in a year or two

Still don't get why others care what others think about a set.

Anyone had luck getting two in a Lego shipping box from Amazon?

For me, I have never gotten Lego sets in Lego shipping boxes from Amazon when buying two or more of a set.

Educated opinions from certain members on here do hold weight, for me anyways.

no.  amazon sends them in a regular amazon box with not enough cushions. only bn.com and  walmart site-to-store pickup.  and last year got some from the warnerbrothers.com shop  in a lego shipping carton.

I care very much what other people think because other people will be the ones buying it from me after it retires.

That's not what I mean. I mean when someone says they don't like a set some people who do get offended as if they were personally attacked. And the other way around too.

He was referring to people on this forum. I highly doubt people here are buying your retired sets.

These will probably still be around when the movie releases. Probably should wait for some discounts.

Need to start a why do I think set xxxxxx is a loser thread. Too many people get hurt when someone thinks otherwise .

Yeah, but it would be a bit repetative

" been out too long "

" too many stored away "

" too many made "

" there will be a remake next week "

Blah blah blah
