They've been an easy flip for $275-285 for mint boxes and $250-260 for the damaged boxed ones.  Unfortunately they've been hard to come by.  B&M stores keep selling out.  All 3 are out weekly here.   This week one store only got 4 in so there gone in an hour usually.

One of mine was severely mangled in transit, CS said they are going to ship replacement on sept 16th.

I only ever seen 2 of these in store and both have similar box damage on the front/display side of the box. Has anyone seen mint box in store ?

I picked up mint tumbler boxes in Seattle. I would get the damaged boxes and ask for extra VIP points. That's a big win (probably 10% in points)

my first few I got in store were mint.  The ones from LEGO Shop at Home had more damage then the ones I got on damaged box from in store.  

And back to "30 days".

TRU just had 2 tumblers in stock but that was it. Probably good to keep an eye out if you are on the hunt.

Picked up one more last night with spaceman promo from b&m . Sold in an hour for 285. Saw 3 or 4 sold at 299 today also. Until they're more easily accessible they'll be a good flip. Funny thing is the store got in more DS than tumbler on the shipment and the DS is the one left on the shelf!

Picked up 2 more in charlotte this weekend. Limit 1 per guest so had wife buy one.

You should check Research Institute text. it is even better. it says "no longer", instead of "not currently"

Dang... TOOS.  I knew I should have drove to the store when they said that had like ten of them. Now will have to flip the one I bought to build...

About halfway through I was looking at it thinking the design had potential to switch over. 

Does anybody know why Amazon now only has the tumbler available for pre-order? It states available Jan-1st, 2015.  The only listings are for ones FBA.  Seems anybody self fulfilling is restricted or listing just doesnt show up.  First time I have noticed a new release get this kind of treatment on amazon.

Has anyone built this been considering building a "The Bat" MOC?

Do you have a link to the MOC? I have 4 bags left to go hopefully I will finish this weekend. I am hoping it solidifies once complete as this is a fragile build once you get past the core big hunks can come off if you pickup or press down in the wrong area. Also you have to really pay attention to the instructions, lots of places to make mistakes. I was really happy with the look but then I saw this pic
