Posted this video on another thread but I felt it needed its own thread. At 2:26, he mentions a UCS tumbler coming soon!!!

No idea where thebrickshow got that info from but I'd love to see pictures of it soon!

I guess I should update my Brickfolio .... not so accurate right now ....

I'm going to throw you all a bone.  Even with 5,000 sold in the past couple of months (some went to end users), this set would still not crack the Top 25 sets in people's Brickfolios.

See that guys? If you continue to spout stupid stuff, EVENTUALLY Ed will get so fed up he'll be forced to drop knowledge :)

We've found the key to the info we crave.

It's fun to watch people over-react to brief moments of time and extrapolate ridiculous assumptions.

~This set has been available for DAYS and has not sold out. Obviously the Lego company has cranked the presses just to mess with us.~

~It keeps coming back into stock, this is a LOSER~

I hate the architecture line.  Nobody buys the stuff, long shelf life, heavily horded.  I've built a bunch and nobody likes them when I display.

I gave mine to the dog for his eating box rage. it's crap

Made me laugh...

I am pretty sure the Target.com inventory and the eBay inventory are linked ....

while the eBay and target inventory is sourced from the same DB, seriously doubt eBay sold # would include target.com

I think Mos Eisley made a great point the other day.  It's all about supply.  This set, given some time to get over the last few weeks of craziness, will flourish because of a lack of supply.

I agree and hope it to be true. I've put my chips in, that's for sure.

Thank you for chiming in and being a voice of reason.

Not much of that around here ;)

4000 is nothing, look at the padbod who had only 1000, worth about 2k..... so 4000 units is nothing even 10 000 at this point.... we are  8 000 000 000 on the planet, many sets were part out etc

Are you comparing the batpod to assume tumbler production #s?  I don't think you are...

Today's tumbler sets sold (assume 5k at target and another 1k online )  may not see a lot until you realized it's another 6k sold on top whatever they produced already.

Those are consolidated numbers from previous sets sold, not just from today.

See exciter's post above.  The numbers from the eBay listing were combined with previous availability in the preceding weeks, not just today.

Maybe the tag should be "not diversified". Haha

On the opposite end of the spectrum. I just ordered my FIRST ONE. Ludicrous I know.

I don't want to get into the great debate, but lets just say the tumbler doesn't really appeal to me. I still had to get at least one so I'm not kicking myself in a couple years....Maybe I'll grab another one, or four.

Best Regards all.

I am the same way. I've ordered two just to see where it goes and to have the option to make some money on a QF or long term hold.

Just went to order another from Target, and it's poof (for now?).

its funny and beautiful how different we all are.....  - if i ever decide to build a lego set it would have to be the tumbler, or maybe an architecture set.    i thought

this batmobile was the coolest thing in the last set of movies....   nothing else even came close in my opinion.      i myself cannot stand star wars (making more friends i know)

-but that won't stop me from investing in them.       pp

Yep.  Shut up now.  You never see me talking about it.  Neither should you.  Architecture sucks.  No minifigures.  It sucks.  Do you understand?

No helicopters either. Totally uninteresting. :boredom:

I'm finally building my 7784 Batmobile UCE set from 2006 and love these 2 pics. Boy, I sure miss the alternative build pics in back of the manuals.

Tumbler 2006 edition using 7784's elements.

You never built a Lego set?

Back at target...

true...   never buit a set from what i can remember.....    i don't if i missed them ( i am 52 ) ,  we were pretty poor, so i don't know if my parents could not

afford them...     i really don't remember even being in contact with them until i had my daughter (she is 16 now) and she was 4 or 5 years old and i would

be over at someones house for a play date and the legos would be all over the floor...     <  that was my only contact!  lol  pp
