Posted this video on another thread but I felt it needed its own thread. At 2:26, he mentions a UCS tumbler coming soon!!!

No idea where thebrickshow got that info from but I'd love to see pictures of it soon!

I haven't built mine yet but seeing it in person at the store years back, I think it is.

The Batpod is the perfect Executive desk center piece

Tumbler is the well placed conversation piece on the credenza or bookshelf.

Neither looks like a toy, the all black and grey is sleek...would match any decor

had 10, broken open 1 for personal build on day one, sold 6 for roughly 60% profit after fees, sit on 3 right now.

Not the best investment for sure, but if the timing is right, you can still make good money out of it.

I'd be an interested party in one copy for personal build if someone is looking to break even. PM me your lowest price or if you are looking for something specific we could do a trade. Sorry if this type of post is not allowed mods feel free to move or delete.

Well, just sold my last one for €406 (= $447) - I only had 3 and was more than a year ago that I sold one.

It was never the kind of set to buy lots of - but it's unique and looks great as a display set (if you're a fan) - that's the big difference with lots of other bigger sets.

Say what? Who is paying more than 100 euros over the market value with the glut of them there are out there?

Yeah some people do really strange things ;)

Lots and lots of people, apparently, paying 2-4x MSRP for a toy.

Thankfully for all of us.

can't believe there's supposed to be another Big Set batmobile coming this year

Seen a rumour that a remake may be coming later this year.  Maybe Smyths found a bunch in a warehouse and this is Lego’s way to get rid of them, once and for all!

From the pic, the piece count makes no sense to me?

The box is fake, created based on the rumor.  This guy made it (or so he said).  So the piece count is bogus

He is in the LAN and gets sets in advance for review.  So he does have access to good sources.

gosh if they can remake the tumbler nothing is safe

Seriously. I figured if any set would escape a remake, it'd be the Tumbler. Great, now I need to offload my inventory of them.

So even though the box is fake, the rumor is probably true?

I'd like to see a larger scale Classic Batmobile before they revisit this thing.

Plot twist:

It's Bane's Tumbler this time.

Might as well pack it up and get out of the game now, fellas.

I regret making this joke.

Still had 2 of them. Sold one quickly for 390 Euro. I'll hold on to the other one now that I saw this pic in the D2C Exclusives List topic:

If the new Tumbler is that one, the all black Tumbler will keep its value most likely. ;)
