Posted this video on another thread but I felt it needed its own thread. At 2:26, he mentions a UCS tumbler coming soon!!! 

No idea where thebrickshow got that info from but I'd love to see pictures of it soon! 

 

 

Tumbler back in stock at Target. Some returns or cancels .... ? I bit for one more. if it is box damage, that will be the one I build ...

Cig gets it, we have all made predictions here that would we would like to be able to delete.

I think we had noted that inventory had dropped like over a thousand or something at one time like an inventory adjustment

Perhaps they put a few thousand in reserve of the five thousand they now have on distributed release on purpose

Not sure what's going on with The Tumbler in Smyths stores in the UK. For the past week or so it was saying available in stores or for delivery from the 15th Jan - 22nd Jan. I've been in 4 different Smyths stores over the past couple of days and no stock at all and no definite date (given to me) for arrival in stores. The date on the website for delivery and in stores has now changed to 26th-29th Jan also. Who knows if they will actually ever get any more in.............

I'll keep checking sporadically though, as I'm guessing many others probably are but without broadcasting the fact

We´ve seen that with Amazon before too. Sometimes you get lucky as some of us did with Fallingwater last year, but mos often the orders get cancelled as fulfilling Smyths toys backorders is probably not very high on TLG production manager´s to do list.

when i opened my tumbler to build i noticed 6 tires and 1 base board wasn't in a sealed package is that normal?  however i counted there are 18 sealed bags.  are my set complete? i'm new at building now do i know if my set has everything? help!

I've been watching like a hawk, it kept changing a lot and it did say available at one point. So I ordered one, we'll see what turns up. I'm expecting it's a return. However customer service assured me they would be getting some.

thanks i asked because the box was partially opened from the side anyone could have taken stuff out or items could have been lost from slipping through the opening.

Probably popping up again due to returns.  You could get lucky with a nice box, but the percentages from Target have not been good, especially when you're picking up scraps at the end.

How does drop shipping help in this situation?  Paying $275.95 for the tumbler from WB when after fees you will receive less than $275.95 from PayPal?  It seems like you lose $ and have to worry about box condition shipped from WB.  Am I missing something?
