Posted this video on another thread but I felt it needed its own thread. At 2:26, he mentions a UCS tumbler coming soon!!! 

No idea where thebrickshow got that info from but I'd love to see pictures of it soon!

Picked one up yesterday from Lego shop and they still had another three on the shelf. Would've taken them if it weren't for the conditions of the boxes. May well have been returns.

Right in time, I'd say.   Was getting worried when it kept being Available till Christmas, that it would keep available till the January sale. But now that it's C2C it will be officially Retired soon and not be part of the sale. And it's still complying with my prediction to a friend that it would go sold out / retiring between Christmas and New Year's.

A few straggler boxes at local B&M stores won't make a different.

Bad news is our Jan 6th sale is not looking at all interesting. At most, we will get Heartlake Mall, Brick Bounty, Arctic Base and what´s lefr of Chima reduced.

Still on the top selling 25 list on CAN S&H, which is impressive given the limit 1 designation. That means a lot of separate accounts from resellers or actual, honest-to-goodness end users are getting one with Christmas cash. With the limit of 1 I expect it to quickly move to call to check - it would have been nice of TLG to have a limit 5, then move it to limit 2 when stock was getting low and then limit 1 in the last couple days - with this system, it could move to sold out in an hour or another week..

I don't know about you guys but it took shorter than I expected from the tag of retiring soon to actually retired. 

In Europe it took 24 days from "retiring soon" to "sold out". That's not bad compared to Exo-Suit.

Saw three of these today on the shelves of a high end toy store for £180, so £20 more than MRP. They were mint. Deal or no deal?

If you want one to build then deal.  If you're ok with having the capital tied up for a year or two then even at that price I'd at least pick up 1.

I have a VERY good feeling about this set...  Gone deep myself, hope to be proved correct.

Yeah, what if they haven´t updated the stock computer and there´s only one left?

I agree that this set will be more of a slow burner than the recent SW retirements but it should receive its own shot in the arm later next year with the new film. People will hate Ben Affleck and the new Batmobile will probably be based on a Lexus or Infiniti so folk will go back to the old one! Time will also tell how those extra days of hoarding time pan out with supply and demand.
