  • So I am brand new to this forum, but not brand new to the LEGO game.  I was in it huge from 2004-2007,  Had many UCS xwings, Tie Interceptors, ISD, CTT, Cloud Cities (I thought I did well when I sold

Lego is trolling buyers. It's only available for preorder in Euro LEGO Shop at Home

  • Pre-order this item today, will ship by 1 Sep 2014

I dunno if it is up right now but I'm having all sorts of trouble with lego.com so I'm guessing it is.

Nope, not up.  Just problems with checking out.   Me going to see if the tumbler was available led me to buy a Winter Village.  Good game, lego.

Yeah I get that in the NZ store as well.  Looks like it's the same for Aus too.

Probably Lego is behind with production? They want to avoid a soap like with the exosuit? To me also them not showing the box till last week or so makes sense than.

Saw this on the vip access thingy in lego shop at home. "Pre-order today and will ship before 1st Sept." So its not on the normal website interface outside, got to log in as VIP

edit: ok it's -really- available now...

Wow, so here is the special deal:

- a polybag ? nope

- an early access ? nope

- double VIP points ? a poster ? a hug ? nope, nope, nope.

You are just allowed to have more chances to get what you ordered.

Oh ! Great !

Limit of... 1 per household !

First time I see that here, as far as I can remember (every other sets have a limit of 5 or more).

Certainly it will change, and that limit is just for the first months.

IMO this is because of the exosuit and research institute drama.

Man, they've upped the free shipping to $400NZ, so had to add a few small bits and pieces on top of the overpriced $350 (equivalent to about $297 US) for the Tumbler.

I thought them lifting it to $200 here was a rort!

Gheez no special at all. No free polybag nothing.....wonder is it worth it to just wait till 1st sept? At least there will be a free gift? Surely there will be enough of the tumbler to sell to everyone, now that the limit is 1 per household.

Seems they have been trleasing the early releases late in the day rather than early in the morning. I will wait to get this until later.

Says available now in on the US site.  Added it to cart though it states at check out that they are experiencing 'technical difficulties' so can't add VIP points in.
