Starting with the classic mummy in April 2016. They'll be tied together like the avengers series.

Could this make Monster Fighters blow up? Or might it get overshadowed by the inevitable new sets to come?

We can only hope.

With bad luck, Hasbro or Mattel will get the rights to building toys associated with these movies and that is IF there will be toys marketed to kids.
