To all BrickPicker members and guests... As my brother, Jeff, stated earlier, we are a new and rapidly improving site about Lego 'investing' and collecting. If you feel there is anything we need to change or add, please feel free to message us. It is a work in progress and new ideas are always welcome. Feel free to ask us any questions about the site or various Lego sets/values. There are over 8400 Lego sets in our database and sometimes mistakes happen. It would be great if when posting on a device that it would simply quote the post I'm quoting & not drag in their quoted post with it. This has happened more than once for me if I go back and edit a post.

Er.....anyone having problems with the brickpicker app? I using andriod and ever since the update my just keep on loading and loading. I have to log in using the computer to write this. As far as I know, some members here have initial problems with the app but it was resolved soon after?

So how does it work?

After the update each time I go on "view new content" and then I open a thread with new content I end up on page 1... instead of the last post I have seen (as before).

Or is there another way I just didn't discover yet?

Do you click on the thread title? That takes you to the first page so you need to click on the icon to the left which is "go to first unread post"

Ahhh!!! Thanks! The small insignificant looking icon it is! :-)

 

On the main page, in the posts widget, posts now all show as "less than one second ago".

When replying to a thread in Safari, the icons and their actions are messed up.  The icon that looks like a gear opens the link prompt.  The link icon opens the emoticon prompt, etc.

Hey guys, not sure how long this bug has been around... could've existed pre-update as I don't see why you'd be changing hyperlinks on the mainpage.... but....

If you go in under Price Guide---> click Star Wars ---> land on City page. 

(Edit: For clarification, the above is in the drop down menu you get when you hover over Price Guide. Clicking through to the master list and then clicking Star Wars works as expected)

Checked all the others, they seem to point to their respective themes properly. Star Wars is the odd one out. No big deal but thought someone should know!

Please could we get Lego store Spain added to the lego shop stock tracker?

The app is not working for me. I ha w had the same problem for about a week or so. Constantly says connecting to server but never loads. I unistalled and re-download and still not working for me on android.

I'm on iOS and it's been working fine for me.

I have no control over it.  You can use the web interface which works fine.  I have to wait for updates just like everyone here.  Right now I am beta testing an actual app upgrade that seems to be working pretty nice on iOS so far.  I have no idea when it will be released, hopefully soon.

Thanks Jeff for the quick reply. Yes I agreed with you that the web interface works fine. Oh well just have to wait for the App to work eventually.

Meanwhile computer web interface it is.

On an unrelated note, in the price guide since the update, the "Ebay" link doesn't seem to work anymore?

On this example: http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=6211-1 it shows "24 ebay listings" but if you click the words, or the ebay icon, it loads this URL: http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=6211-1#showEbay but simply reloads the current price guide page, rather than taking you to ebay.com 

 

One of the great features of this site for me the past few months was the short cut link to 'completed sold listings' on any given set. This link is gone now, maybe to do with the new data acquisition... fair enough. Clicking through to all the listings for that set, then clicking the Sold Items box once there is nearly just as quick.... but that avenue as illustrated above isn't working either. Which then leads me to have to open a fresh page, type in ebay.com, take note of set number from previous price guide search, type in the number, THEN click sold items. First world problems... I know. Just pointing out how much more efficient that aspect on the old setup was for me. Fixing the hotlink to the ebay listings for that item would solve most of my qualms here though. Hadn't seen it mentioned yet, so here it is.
