The Xmas sets giveaways have 2011 on them, don't know if that is what you meant, the logo is similar but I do not think it is the same.

A thin chinstrap would have been better, but I'm not complaining, ordered one today.

Yeah too bad LEGO does not use the old helmet mold anymore. Now that I have my old 6952 Solar Power Transporter set back, I do not have any desire to get this promo However, I can clearly see the demand, especially if it stays eclusive to EU

Interesting to note, I believe Lego has reissued all original colors of the Classic Space theme between red, blue, yellow, black, and white over time.

That was my favorite Classic Space set that I actually owned, although I did modify the front to make it pointier and thus faster, at least in my ten year old mind.

Since 6952 is my favorite space set, that black robot just looks weird without a 2x2 plate as its foot

I don't know why but I am just not a classic Space guy. Just doesn't appeal to me for some reason.

The banner has been removed from the LEGO Shop at Home, maybe because the stock is running low.

I received my first one this morning, I did not have opened it yet. The box is so soft to the touch, it's really nice.

I have two of these... will sell one probably... wondering what I can get for it.

I remember from my youth the thin chinstrap always teared. So this new thicker chinstrap is not a bad thing eventhough it is not original like the vintage ones.

One of my first Lego sets as a kid.... love that ship!  I had it on my shelf until recently (I rotate the display sets on a regular basis).
