Well it looks like Lego will be back at SDCC this year.

The floor map has a fairly large booth for them.

You can see the show floor layout at -

I have heard that they are going to release a set of some kind perhaps the UCS Tumbler?

I find it interesting that Hasbro and Mattel have announced their items but Lego has not.

Not sure their normal timing.

I wonder if they are going to switch give away and sale processes to avoid all the uproar over how last years was handled?

Anyone have any information or rumors on what is to come?

You know what baffles me? They can do unique printings for such limited items as the new Unikitty, but doing decent prints for the Mini Cooper (front emblem is ugly as hell as a sticker) or Orthanc wo

Back from Comic Con tonight.  Let me tell you about my Lego experiences...   First, to address what Kriterian above said, it wasn't the case this year.  They had signs up "No

I think it went well last year actually. I didn't get a minifig but I thought it was fair. I waited in a line about a half mile long outside of the convention center and they scanned my badge and was handed a ticket with a number on it. A few hours later the winning groups of numbers were posted on a website and you would go to the Lego booth to pick it up.

How did you know where to line up? As I said, I'm a con veteran, and i know the convention center in and out, just don't know where the line is for that.

I'm picking up my badges on Wed, so I'd like to head straight for the Lego giveaway line on Thurs morning.

Great to see better images. As I said earlier it was the first thing to catch my eye in that clip!

Would be awesome to see that ripping down a Lego made street

According to San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog, there's a new process for trying to win the minifigure this year:

Instead of a ticketing process, attendees will walk up to an iPad and hit a button to enter, and they will know immediately if they are a winner. Attendees will have one chance to enter per day

At least last year at the Lego booth they had a time to be behind the Sails Pavilion. The line was insane but it went fast when they started.

They'll still be doing it behind the Sails Pavilion.  This time, sounds like it will be a bit more organized.

Oh that Paul...funny guy

When are we likely to see images of the Exclusive SDCC Batmobile and the upcoming DC/Marvel sets? Has SDCC not started already?

SDCC Preview Night is tomorrow from 6-9pm PDT.  The first full day is Thursday and it runs through Sunday.  I'm pretty sure new reveals are staggered throughout the event so we won't see everything until this weekend.

Not yet.  Tomorrow night is preview night, which is when we will probably see the first images come out.  That starts at 6PM Pacific.

I will be there on Thursday, and heading to the Lego booth first thing.  I'll post some pictures on Thursday night.

The past couple of years, they've shown new sets each day to slowly piece everything out.

Brickfan posted the complete details about Comic Con.

Happy to know that UniKitty is Sunday's giveaway.  I'll be taking my 6 year old daughter with me.  So we'll both have a chance to win one.  Lot more going to be out there this year, too.  (I think I read 1750 each day).

Suh-weet!!!

You coming down from Ohio??

Uh oh...check www.fbtb.net again :(

Zur-En-Arrh!!!!!!!

The batmobile looks pretty poor to my eyes.  Not sure why it would be in demand.  Maybe I am missing something.

I like it!  I wish I could get it, but I'm going to realistic about my chances of getting it.  250 of those a day, and I'm just not going to get one.

25 hours, 18 minutes to go...

Youre there already?? So jealous!!!

The batmobile is also going to be $50, not $40 like the other two sets. It's going to be really popular though.
