I downloaded LDD and I am trying to design my first MOC.  I am just curious what scale you use.

I would like the scale to match with mini figures and to seem realistic.

What scale do you use?

For example, how many studs = 1 foot long? How many rows of bricks = 1 foot high?

Thanks in advance!

all depends on what you're building. . . so whatcha building?

Might want to try downloading some LDDs for official LEGO sets. That should give you a really good idea.

Thanks, I will look in to that.

Last night I was just messing around after I downloaded the software.  I decided to start simple with a replica of my work cubicle.

a one stud = one foot works when I make a floor plan of our apt.  I like to rearrange furniture a lot so having a little floor plan with mini furniture helps. and building is always fun

I think my next project will be my apartment.  That was my first idea, but I decided to start a little smaller.

Thanks!
