There's a guy selling a huge lot of potentailly 71 bionicle sets for $500. Most sets appear to be intact and have box/instructions. BP  lot calculator values it at $1400. I'm willing to go $250 as this has been posted for 30 days and was recently updated so it's still active. I've never sold Bionicle so looking to the forum for advice. What do you think?

The only advice I can give you is to look over the connection pieces very closely in person if you can. Bionicle ball sockets are extremely fragile and become brittle with age. At least 50% of the last two bulk lot's I've bought are like this.

I would try to offer the $250 for the whole lot, like you said. The most I would pay for this whole lot is $350-$400. If you buy the lot, good luck selling it, because there is a good profit margin.

I have never had much luck moving Bionicle, when I find it in a bulk lot I generally toss it into the yard sale box. There are a couple exceptions,but I can't remember them right now.

What should I look for to determine if they are brittle? Just check to see the joints are intact? Thanks

In this picture what happens a lot is that one half of the socket will be completely missing.
