I still think Daily Bugle Showdown is the one to jump on right now. I know it's not impacted by these DC sets, but I have this itching feeling that it will disappear quick in the next few weeks.  It's almost gone at all retailers, except for TRU.  It will disappear quietly, like Hulk Helicarrier and Wolverine Chopper. Get them while you can.

 

Amazon.com and KMart.com are the places to get it for under $40.

 

I agree, is disapearing out of the shops very quietly. Ordered 5 more for 39

The smaller cowl for Batman is also reminiscent of the cowl that Ben Affliack will be wearing in BvS

Proxy figs are often used in preliminary pictures as the above. We can expect maxifig Darkseid and Grodd.

I hope they put the Green Lantern logo on the front instead of Batman's. The Green Lantern set is the only one that does it for me. Maybe the Grodd one if the maxfig is epic as my kids would say.

What's the super jumper thing for Batman and Superman?  Btw, is that Wolverine's body they are using for Hawkman?

Not crazy about these sets to be honest. Seems like they are putting Batman in every set and giving him a new vehicle. It's getting a bit silly now. To me it's all about the new minifigs.

I was looking forward to the Darkseid Invasion but seeing it it doesn't look so cool after all :-(

They could have shown a little imagination and given us a Deathstroke in the Darkseid set to fight Green Arrow

Only 1 set with 3 minifigs. The rest of the sets seems packed with them. Seems strange to me. Would have expected 3 sets with 3 minifigs and 2 with more.

WOW!  So much goodness in this wave.  I'm really excited to see the DC Super Heroes theme expand this much.

Hmm, so Superman needs a bunch of 2nd tier superheroes to fight Darkseid but enlists Supergirl AND Martian Manhunter to fight Brainiac ? The pairings are kind of odd to me ;)
