Ideas for a Halloween Town & MOCs

The season of scaring is not for another few months but I figure we could pool some ideas together on what would be cool to feature in a custom Halloween Town in the meantime and even continue afterwards for years to come. I think we all know the Monster Fighters sets are a given for this epic diorama so what I am really shooting for is more about unique build ideas or special scene setups over 'straight-from-the-box' designs. I should give gratitude to Alpinemaps for the inspiration from conversation in the "What did you build today?" thread.

Alright here's an idea to start. Each Escape from Mirkwood Spiders set includes two of those spider sacks and a tree to hang them from. Now my idea is to have a generic Lego skeleton figure in one of those while the other has a skull head with some bone pieces.

Anyone know what the wolf head on fountain is from?

It is a BrickWarriors custom Wolf Pelt Helm piece.

I picked this up 2 weeks ago for MSRP minus a few bucks of amazon points. I couldn't wait for a sale. It looks too cool.

I'm looking forward to building the Fishing Shop ASAP and put it next to a Haunted House and my slightly enhanced 4 seater Scooby Doo Mystery Machine for a small Halloween diorama that the wife will hate (kids will love it).

I tell ya, TLG is missing the boat here.  Maybe this is too America-centric thinking, but Halloween seems almost equally popular to the Christmas season these days, and I think some numbers may indicate that it's even surpassed the Christmas/holiday season.  IMO, TLG could produce a Halloween Village series in the same vein they do their Winter Village series, and it would be a tremendous hit!  They could release one set per year, probably in September, and they could do a promo set every October.  I guarantee this would not fail.  I haven't searched, but I imagine someone has proposed this type of concept on Ideas?

My wife didn't like my pics, since they didn't properly emphasize her trick or treater placement talents, so here are some better pics. Also, I'm a horrible photographer
