Should I buy a complete, used Star Wars UCS 10030 SSD for $500?

Featured Replies

Hi I came across a local seller with this for $500.  It's complete in box, with manual in good shape.  Should I bite for $500?  eBay completed listings say it's a good deal but I also worry about a rerelease, etc.

Any and all opinions welcomed!

Assuming it's in good shape, you aren't going to do a whole lot better than that. I'd buy it myself at that price.

it's also amazing to look at after you build it - so big it, build it, and then you can always sell it later - you won't lose money that's for sure

I sold mine on EBay for $750 in that same condition - the listing was up for about a day. You will love the build and won't have any issue selling it for at least the price you paid when it is time.

I have a local seller as well, complete good condition and manuals but no Box. Asking $500.  Thinking I might pick it up for a flip.

Congrats on the find!

I would do it. If you buy it and want to trade it let me know. I have an advert in the BrickTrader section.

Thanks, I bought it.  My son and I are still building it (hard to find time lol), I don't think I'm planning to get rid of it any time soon but if I do, I'll let you know.
