I thought that was odd too. Mine expired in april but the code changed to a "rnt2l" something like that code after I entered it wish I had wrote it down now.

If you are referring to the new yellow coupons they are both online and in store. BN.com is very picky when it comes to applying coupons to Lego. If you give them a phone call they can override for you.
