The Kings won against the Rangers tonight, 3-2 in Double OT.  Exciting game to the end.

 

It's especially sweet for me.  I've been a Kings fan since the early 90s (when Gretzky joined the team).  I live in San Diego, so my other sports teams are the Padres and the Chargers.  Can't stand basketball, so I only have three sports for my champions to come from.

 

When the Kings won two years ago, it was the first time *my* team won a championship.  And it's especially cool that it's happened again.  This is awesome!

 

One last cool thing - when the Ducks won a few years ago, they brought the Cup to my work (I work on a military base).  So I got to pose and kiss the Cup.  It was very cool.

 

Congrats Kings!

Congratulations to the Kings. What a game! My Habs made a good run but, after watching the Black Hawk/ Kings series. I knew I was looking at the Cup winner.

Rangers played tough, they have a lot to be proud of.

So many good games in these playoffs this year. Rangers hung in there, I thought they might steal that game last night.  Nothing really compares to being at a playoff hockey game..... except for maybe a World Title Fight in Vegas, as long as it doesn't involve Mayweather.
