8051 - Motorbike

I just bought a sealed in mint box 8051 Motorbike set for $65. It's a set that I have always wanted but I'm not sure if I should open it or not. It seems like these sets are around $120 new, which is quite a bit more than the MSRP so I wonder how much more the price will go up?

 

 

It's a bit scary to think that as soon as I break the seal the value gets cut in half.

    Depends if you want to build it or invest in it. If I were you, I would sell the NIB one and use the profits to buy a used and complete set so that you can build it.

    I second that.  This is simply one of the best looking Technic sets out there.  Every Lego fan should own one of these.
