Wisdom for the win.

Wisdom for the win.

I seriously hope you had to google that...

I did, but I'm old enough to remember smoking hot Demi in 80's movies.

note: not that it matters much but Adam F. Goldberg (huge SW nut and creator of The Goldbergs TV show) tweeted his ranking after the LA Premier : "Ranking: 1. Empire Strikes Back. 2. Force Awakens. 3. A New Hope. 4. Return of the Jedi. 5 - 8 Prequels. Thank you JJ."

Star Wars Cast singing acappella version of SW theme (w/ Jimmy Fallon)

I'll be watching this movie on monday (VIP seats ;-) ) together with my best friend in OV!

I'm soooo looking forward to this! I'm only confused that there are not MORE OV screenings here in Germany. I've seen the german trailer and compared to the OV it kind of... well it just didn't transport the same atmosphere.

My favorite is Episode V ;-) Guess it's pretty strong (as the Empire strikes back! ^.^)

Can any movie today capture the same atmosphere of a movie in the '70s or '80s?   The same can be said for comedy movies like Sixteen Candles compared to what we see today.  We were of different mindset back then, technology was different and the way people shot movies was different.  Anyone can try, but I don't know if it can really ever be replicated.

Seeing all of the positive feedback/ reviews about this movie has made me beyond excited, I was born into the meh prequel trilogy so this will be the first truly great Star Wars movie that I'll be able to see in theaters!

i'm happy about the positive reviews so far but see, here is my deal.

i just want to see one jawa or sandcrawler in the 135 min film.  i'm not asking for much. honestly, who would want to live in a downed star destroyer or at-at anyway when a sandcrawler is available.

Yeah, um, those scenes from the trailer take place on Jakku, not Tattooine where the Jawas live. I don't think we're going to see any previously seen planets in this film.

suppose one could kinda count the "Star Wars Holiday Special" of 1978 :-)

Clone Wars Movie was likely the 8th.

i knew those jawas were prob too cheap to invest in rockets for sandcrawlers although some SSD, x-wings and ISDs did crash on Jakku.

rey and the salvagers prob got to the parts before the jawas.  ugh.

Eh... the GERMAN trailer didn't transport the same atmosphere as the ENGLISH trailer ;-)

So all the friends of mine who've already seen it agree that it won't be disappointing. So far so good :-)

T minus 29 hours until my 3D showing.  I am not standing outside when it is 20 degrees tonight and I cannot get out of work earlier than that tomorrow :P

So, off to see the movie now. Will tell you all about it when I get back.

You do want to know what happens, right?
