So, off to see the movie now. Will tell you all about it when I get back.

You do want to know what happens, right?

YES! Don't leave anything out!

Just got back from it. Thought it was excellent!!

I am not reading this thread (and avoiding all spoilers I can) but be aware: last night I was browsing a game forum (zombie game, not SW or spaceships or scifi) on steam and someone posted an article AND changed their username to spoil what I assume is a major plot point. Be careful out there.

Hey guys, I wanted to ask all the people that have seen it, why is it PG-13? I really want to take my 8 1/2 and 5 year old to see it but I don't know if there is anything really inappropriate. I haven't let them see episode 3 yet because the whole lava burning scene with Anakin and that was pretty intense. Is there anything like that in this one? Is it just the action violence or more? I don't want spoilers or to ruin the movie for anyone else. Thanks!

In a horrific way, or in a Qui-Gon Jinn/Darth Maul kinda way?

Mostly action violence, no lava scene, more episode one than three.
8 ½ no issue, 5 not sure.   .

So glad my theater did assigned seating.  I'm going to stroll in right at showtime and sit down.

I will be doing that with Ed later tonight. This iMax theater doesn't have that

Why do people have to be jerks? I don't get it. This is why I am going tomorrow because I know I will be spoiled if I wait any longer.

Thanks for responding. I kinda thought that it was okay for an 8 1/2 year old and not the 5 year old.

Seeing it Saturday afternoon. Thank goodness for assigned seating!

Loved it!

F****** awesome!  Well worth the 32 years that I've waited since the credits first rolled in ROTJ.

Just got back ...saw it in XD3D with my 8 yr old little man. He loved it. I loved it. If I wanted to nitpick I could, but it pretty much lived up to the hype. Bring on the next 2 as I sit and watch my Kylo Ren collectibles grow in value :)

It was definitely worth the wait.

Kylo Ren is bad ass. I would say more terrifying than Vader due to his unpredictability. However, there is no music matching the imperial march like how Vader appeared on screen, which sort of dialed down the fear factor a bit.

I enjoyed it.  I have a strong urge to build a bunch of SW sets I have stashed away.

Kids loved BB-8, I've got to think we'll get a UCS of this droid at some point.  My oldest thought we were going to see a sequel where all the characters looked the same as they did 30 years ago, from his comments he is an OT purist.

Spoiler

I won't say it's a bad thing, but I feel that I just watched a movie very similar to A New Hope.

I kind of disagree.

Spoiler

Taking the mask off removes some of the mystery that you got with Vader.  After watching him freak out and then later take the mask off, I got a flashback to angsty, whiney Anakin, but toned down.
