Hmm how come all trailers we saw so far were set in (a) planet(s)?  Where are the space battles ????  I hope they were saving the best for the movie

There's one quick shot of a burning TIE Fighter tumbling towards the planet (Jakku presumably) which implies something happens in space.

Ok fine, there was a scene MF went to hyperspace and another with Kylo Ren shuttle going to SD.  Other than those, there were no excitement in space.

That is why it is called star wars and not space wars. The movie is about wars around the death star, aka star killer base in the new trilogy

I'm very happy that Disney, J.J.Abrahams, etc. worked so quickly on that one and that Daniel got his wish fulfilled.

I'm very sad that issues that would be solveable and fates that wouldn't need to end in early death don't get the attention they deserve and don't move people as this one did. (Not meaning instead of, but as well).

Yeah God bless Disney and JJ for working so fast and to be able to grant him his last wish, kudos to them
