I'm old school with Dark Forces....or even older school with Empire Strikes Back on Atari 2600.

X-Wing on PC is my all time favorite.

I still play SW BF2  from time to time if I feel like destroying a bunch of rebel scums.  I use Imperial Pilot to fly a TIE, sneak in to the rebels' main ship, steal an A-Wing, and use the A-Wing to destroy as many X-Wings & Y-Wings as I can

I still have a copy of ESB and ROTJ for 2600 in the box w/ instructions.

Dark forces was Alotta fun! I really like Jedi academy as well and kotor was revolutionary and is still one of my top 5 favorite games of all time

I swear dice better add space battles or else I'll riot lol, with the technology they have now they could easily do ground to space battles and vice Versa

They have to.  I am sure everyone wants to re-create the X-Wing vs Stormtroopers battle as show in ep7 trailer.

Even in SWBF2, I can fly a Snowspeeder to mow Snowtroopers on Hoth map.  I cannot see them doing less than that

Yeah you fly starfighter's above the battlefield in a lot of the maps but they haven't confirmed any space battles yet, knowing Ea they'll make it an add-on but whatever as long as they do it I'll be happy, I want this game to be as good as the old ones so I have a fun Star Wars shooter to come back to every once in awhile for years to come

Best PC game ever. The only one better is the follow up, TIE Fighter.

just want to get an opinion ... maybe im contemplating on getting either a PS4 or XBOX1 just for this game cause its badass and its making want to play this video game and i havent played a video game since PS2 ... which one would be the better platform?

If you wanna go all out like I did get the limited edition darth Vader ps4 bundle, you get a custom ps4 and controller as well as a few remastered Star Wars games and the deluxe edition of Star Wars battlefront

We've got a thread for this guys... I don't really want to move these posts there since they have relevance to the craze of SW VII but I think we should mosey on to that thread if the discussion gets any deeper. :)

Since the owner started this one with the Battlefront link (and everyone is enjoying it) - I would say that you might be overruled.

It will likely die out soon enough. If not, then it should be moved (but I say give it some time).

BTW I'm old school (or just old) my fav was the original X-Wing and Tie Fighter games that ran on my old 386-40.
