yeah wife found it thought it was neat, did a pretty good job on it.  Didn't even notice that either.

I've only watched the real trailer a couple times - I'm not someone who obsesses over them, but I am pretty freaking excited about the movie. I know I'm speculating, but I think it's going to blow away my expectations. There are just too many good scenes in the trailer...

I only noticed after watching a few times. My eyes were just too drawn to the freaking awesome dogfight starting with the TIEs and XWings.

Maybe, but that trailer doesn't even compare ... no MF, no Han, no Chewie, no Tie Fighters, no super secret planet killer, etc. In hindsight, it's a really crappy trailer compared to the movie itself.

You just explained why all of these remakes and sequels were made, nostalgia factor.  I am not saying it is necessarily bad for this case.  Heck, based on new ST, JJ is arguably the only one who can pull this off.  I just like to keep my expectation in check, so I can be blown away.

I disagreed.  I thought the ep1 trailer captured all highlights of ep1, which was a big problem with the movie but not the trailer.

The training program of the future must be terrible. Clonetroopers could actually hit a target while Stormtroopers can't even graze the broadside of a barn. Ha. Still I remember Halo's assault rifle had the worst aim of anything supposed to be 'military grade' ever fired.

I used this example to my wife a week ago. She has been watching all the Star Wars stuff online recently and she said, "I'm getting really excited for this movie." I told her that 16 years ago I went through the same thing, then I saw what was delivered. I am not a prequel hater, but it failed to meet expectations. Heck, after Phantom Menace, I figured they'd just get better, but then I saw Attack of the Clones and felt renewed disappointment. So, I am attempting to tone down my excitement level, except I have 2 little girls and a wife that have never seen Star Wars in a theater. The whole house is getting excited. Halloween they are Rey and Phasma, and I cannot help but feel like the dad in that new Toys R Us commercial.

I love battlefield! I grew up on battlefront and have been waiting for another one for a decade now  

BF 1942 was the best. Especially the DC and FH mods. They had a SW mod as well but I forget the name. I'm a PC gamer and cringe at the thought of playing a FPS on a console with a controller. Give a keyboard and mouse or give me death. Though the BF series died to me after BF2...

SW Battlefront 2 with Clone Wars mod was one of the greatest games evah!!!
