Lego Summer 2014 Catalog Observations

Featured Replies

Can anyone confirm if the Rancor Pit is on the catalogs?

It (as well as sail barge - page 99, but not jabba palace) is on page 98 of the NL version, but not in DE version

Great, thanks!

Jabba's Palace is long gone, I want the minifigs of both, luckly I can get them over here still.

any predication on the arctic sets?

They do look cool to me.

Some speculate that they could be hypothetically tied in to Winter Village sets for Christmas display purposes, but that's reaching :-)

Santa, technically, could easily claimed to be an Arctic Researcher...

Check out that Duplo dollhouse!!!! Hot toy for the pre-Friends set...

Also is that one spread of the Lego Friends jungle sets implying that you can connect them all together? Because that would be more awesome than awesome.

Duplo Dollhouse is going to be available Aug 1st: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Play-House-10505

Also, for your 2-5 year old fan of the Game of Thrones: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Big-Royal-Castle-10577  (though I guess they did not use gunpowder in GoT... but maybe eventually they will in the book 7?)

It does all connect together. I was at the Lego Store recently, and they had the sets out. The back of the box shows the sets being connected.

Totally confused by the use of word "limited" for the Simpsons minifigs at the spread before last page. Limited as in comparison to what???

Well each series of Collectable Minifigures are limited to being available for about four months before the next one in line is out but other than that I don't know what else could be considered 'limited'. Perhaps only certain stores even carrying them to begin with? :dontknow:

Man I missed getting those kind of catalogs in my LEGO sets. :( This was back in 1980 something for you kids ;)

Like these? Still fun to look through every now and then.

Lately I get the impression that Lego interprets "limited" as "not unlimited". In which case they would be right, but only sort of. 8)
