At least this should rekindle interest in the older LEGO Batman games and sets.

My son was stoked, and I kind of was too.  The games are fun, if repetitive, and we can play them together.

He did say we should get Batman 1 to play until Batman 3 comes out, we have the second game.

I'm curious to see what it will do to the Power Armor Lex set, once it's EOL.  This movie might prompt another release of sets with classic Superman & Wonderwoman.

From the preview, it looks like Superman and WW are sporting their New 52 costumes. I would expect future versions to have this printing not the classic versions out now.

I never played the second one, but loved the first. I'll get 2 before 3 comes out. I'm curious as to what the pre-order fig will be.

I'd assume this will be more like the Lego Marvel game this time around with lots of characters, variations and things to do.

Ace(FBTB) is saying that Plastic Man is the only preorder offer worth getting because none of the others are as good as the Plastic Man offer. He's not saying that Plastic Man sucks.

Only thing about Plas is that it would have been nice for the fig to have short pants.

Man this looks so amazing...  And the character roster is impressive!  And I thought Lego Marvel was already pretty awesome..  I'm glad that they're giving some of the maxifig characters more abilities than just being a large character...  I'm referring to the Arkillo character that was shown in the comic-con preview.  That lack of variability in the maxifig is what disappointed me with the Lego Marvel game...

 

And I hope there's enough trans-clear bricks to build Wonder Woman's invisible jet!

The Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham video game shall be released in the US on November 11th while the rest of the world is November 14th. There is still some time to pre-order it from GameStop and get an exclusive Plastic Man minifigure.
