I bought one of these for $28 at Target close to the end of 2013. Almost two years later and the value is barely a few cents above retail it seems. Talk about a slow mover. Eh, I regret nothing.

IIRC Kmart and Target had them for around $23 during this past holiday season.  I think Walmart also clearanced these at around $17 (or at least they did in my area), so the buy in was pretty low for people in the states.

Unfortunately with so many sets containing Iron man now, the character has been saturated. It is going to be a tough sell to get his sets to move much above retail I feel, similar to Spiderman sets. The cheaper you score them the better. 

My son and I built this yesterday.  It's a small build, but the section of the mansion is nice. I feel like getting 2 more to make the mansion much larger.  The helicopter is very solid, but just another helicopter.
