  1. I am a bit puzzled that this has been "hard to find" indeed in Europe since August, but has been and still is readily available in North America and the Asia/Pacific region. Is demand in Europe so much higher for this set? I think she is finished, just doing the dance In Europe, but nowbody even wants to invite her to dance in the rest of the world.
  2. Possible. Or maybe they will go around the same time like BB and DO. I still think Assembly Square has a higher ceiling though. I don't think this was a local clearance sale, just bad decision making for minor box damage. Or maybe it's because of the next lockdown looming: get some cash fast. They are still in trouble in general but the next step probably won't be closing a few more stores here and there, but rather bankruptcy or sale of the whole company. (Maybe double post. I don't know why the copy from 24 hours ago has not been approved by a moderator yet.)

  4. Our local Galeria department store had quite a significant amount of larger sets at 50% off because of some damage to the box. In some cases really only shelf wear. First time I went "deep" on a large set, because I believe this is next on the Modular retirement list: Assembly Square 10255. Deep for me means 5 units, quite a few of you folks here will probably laugh at this number. 😉 It was interesting to see which sets were gone first (Tree House, Hogwarts Castle, Star Destroyer) and which were still available after more than a day (Corner Garage, Book Shop, Old Trafford, Roller Coaster, Crocodile), though the amount available on the last ones was also higher.
  5. According to Handelsblatt and market researcher Yougov LEGO is still the most popular brand in Germany as of november 2020. Not just most popular toy brand but THE most popular brand. https://www.handelsblatt.com/unternehmen/management/handelsblatt-testet-kundennaehe-als-erfolgsfaktor-das-sind-die-beliebtesten-marken-des-jahres-2020/26581934.html Quite the opposite of what you are suggesting. Although the effects of the newer development with the legal battle about minifigs that Thorsten from Johnny's World is dealing with or the latest escalation with Thomas Panke / Held der Steine could of course not have been included in this survey. It will be interesting to see if their brand popularity in Germany will really change in 2021. I believe, many if not most people who watch "Held der Steine" are not Lego customers and never have been. They are only there for the entertainment.
  6. I believe the May release is for selected retailers. For LEGO itself it should be February.
  7. 75279 Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar 2020. Found a few in a book store in the morning for 15€ (50% off), sold almost immediately für 40€ cash. My quickest quick flip ever. I wonder what these will sell for next year.
