  1. Any ideas on how limited 40658: Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama actually is? Is it really retiring end of this year.
  2. There's probably only a handful of folk who actually have inside lego sources. The rest just take educated guesses, and when their right, they'll shout about it, and when their wrong, just make up excuses why the set didn't retire.
  3. 10252: Volkswagen Beetle is just above RRP on eBay UK, surprising as I thought it would do decent.
  4. Visited a hamleys few weeks ago and was surprised (well not really lol) that they still had TLM2 sets for sale.
  5. How is this new packaging compared with the previous large boxes from lego? Wondering whether to just buy Rivendel from actual shop rather than getting a damaged set delivered.
  6. Same thing I am thinking about the UCS AT-AT and Razor Crest. Amazing sets, but after seeing them in real life at Lego shop, I'll have nowhere to put them.
  7. Is the seller stating the buyers details in the feedback? Or other way around?
  8. Agree. I think I've transitioned from collector to hoarder, as due to work / kids, not built a set in months. But I just keep on buying sets as addicted lol
  9. Do you search all addresses you send to or only for the high value items, never even occurred to me this kind of scam could happen, as thought parcel would just get returned to sender if they can't find the address
  10. What were you ordering? Managed to only get 1 Phantom order with the technic bugatti
  11. All in on 10291: ***** Eye?
  12. Not showing up in UK SAH, in the past VIP rewards have released at 9am so hoping for some reason still to release and not sold out here
  13. Apart from thr Winnie the Pooh prints, every other ones seem to be very difficult to resell
  14. Great show, has made me go back to watch Rogue One and try and collect those Minifigures. Surprised that the Rogue one sets haven't really appreciated much even though retired in 2018. Scariff / shoretroppers and K2S0 minifigs going for good money
  15. I did multiple orders for forest men and only 1 got cancelled, did some orders after the cancellation and those shipped with GWP. Not sure how SAH tracks GWP nowadays but I still think they just review certain sets and buyers buying habits to determine if person is a reseller or not, or maybe they don't care anymore.
  16. Is the fennec shand the same as in 75315: Imperial Light Cruiser?
  17. Nowadays if limit on SAH is say 5, if you order 6, order is auto cancelled. Only way around it is when SAH change the limit I.e. go from 2 to 5. This is the case if you've order a set in the past, they just look at total ordered and then auto cancel if you go over the limit.
  18. The adidas mini shoe had a hard limit of 1 on my SAH account (UK). All subsequent GWP (40533: Cosmic Cardboard Adventures / 40529: Children's Amusement Park / Star Wars May 4th) was allowed to get multiple. If they do start to enforce the 1 per household limit, it would be a good thing for resellers as would diminish the supply, but it would also decrease sales for lego, therefore I don't personally see it happening, but could be wrong. I think most likely lego has a list of accounts that they might suspect person is a reseller and might restrict their account, therefore always advisable not to go over the hard limits set on SAH nowadays.
  19. There's been alot of backlash from people on lego forums / brickset etc regarding this. However, I don't think lego sales are going to be affected by this that much. I remember a great quote by Ed Mack on here which he mentioned that lego is a toy set for the middle/ upper class, and even during the last financial crisis lego survived. There will always be "rich" parents that buy the toy for their kids even during a recession. Sure there may be some hiccups along the way, but people calling this the "end" for lego is premature.
  20. Damn, this set has absolutely exploded in value due to the Jango minifig. Only started watching the Mandalorian recently, Kind of regret selling my set a year ago. Guess will have to settle to buy the other Jango minifig from 75015: Corporate Alliance Tank Droid
  21. What insurance provider did you go for? Seems like John Lewis / Marks and Spencer have one of the best coverage compared to Which Magazine (due to their unlimited coverage and individual item amount etc).
  22. I actually redeemed points for one lol, I think there quite cool. Will keep for personal use not resale.
  23. I was worried that if I placed the set on a shelf, it might be too heavy and the shelf collapse over time.
  24. Castle in the forest is a home run.
  25. Lukes lightsaber GWP is going to be worth a pretty penny indeed.
