You seem to be fully sure and you're always well infomed. What plan do you think TLG has for Disney minifigures please? Another production run for #1 seems to be out of the scope. But you say there will be no Disney #2 next year. Does it mean there was only one Disney CMF series at all??? And that it was sold out weeks before releasing Disney Castle? Either way it does not sound smart with both Disney and TLG playing same game, specially having in mind these disney CMF must have been great.business for both.

Called SAH Europe and they stated they will not produce/sell any more Disney minifigures even with Castle out. They kindly adviced me to check on retailers for any left on shelves.

Anyone any view on the above old but great sets please?

Furthermore, the soonest a set is rumoured/expected to get retired, hoard increases sell figures and TLG decides to keep it alive given it's performing well lately again. It's a vicious circle. Look how many SOH are for sale and compare its figure with TB's. I have no doubts at all

Again...SOH will retire before TB as the latter will be left in shelves to live together with its new brother BB, with synergies all over the place. TB will be milked until end of 2017. TLG made clear before that being the oldest set does not mean it will retire first.

IMHO $450-500 MSRP means there's even more potential downside for old DS as its roof may match new DS MSRP. TLG just don't care about investors and resellers, so given Disney is on board, I suspect TLG is currently working on a brand new UCS X-Wing ahead of SW VIII 2017 film. Lastly, they'll also have plans for a new UCS MF ahead of Han Solo 2018 film. Therefore Disney would achieve release of 3 most iconic SW sets with its own terms within 3 years. I'm afraid it sounds like a plan for TLG as even if we don't like new designs or they're just replicas of old sets, both TLG and Disney will achieve higher sales than with new ships such as the ones mentioned ahead of Rogue One.

I still believe TLG will let TB alive to escort brand new BB, while SOH will get retired due general lack of interest. Sinergies at same city sets to outweigh shorter life time of SOH.

If it becomes a failure and it gets retired soon, then as long as it' a sphere, it's a MUST buy when on last minute sale IMHO. It would not be the first time... Disclaimer: AOH does not even apply for the above!

So we're expecting new Harry Potter film by Nov 18th, but not heard any rumour about new lego sets? Does it mean TLG has no rights anymore to create and commercialise new lego sets? But it has rights to do so with Dimensions??? Either new sets arrive or not, it should be good news for holders of iconic sets such as Castle 4842 and Diagon 10217 right?

In my opinion, little Timmy would prefer Slave I rather than Sandcrawler, which I reckon is reserved for AFOLs. Slave I should have a push given future films starring Bobba Fett. Also Timmy's dad would prefer to deliver on a 200 set than 300 one. Anyway I expect Sandcrawler and EV to retire in Oct/Nov16, while Slave I will stay alive for a while. Regarding creator line, I expect SOH to retire before TB, being a surprise as it's less hoarded. Tie is uninvestible in my opinion, unless scoring at 30-40% discount.

Rather than duplicated stickers, I wish there were no stickers at all in any Lego set (specially in $300+ sets) , same as you don't expect any in a minifigure

Hi chaps, I'm desperate looking for help. I've just got a TH at good price, but even if seller mentioned it was sealed, I realised at home that box was opened although all bags are sealed. Given that box is open, I extracted all bags and counted them. Now I wonder if I'm missing any bag. I'd appreciate if anyone could point me in the right direction or tell me if the below bags mean a complete set please. 14x #1 bags 5x #2 bags 10x #3 bags Bag with different medium size green and sand baseplates Big sand baseplate Instructions sealed Really appreciated!

I reckon Slave I should have better demand than Sandcrawler, being the latter more hoarded. However, if they shoot a Fett film I guess we'll see a new Slave I set and depending on it being UCS, current may be a winner or not

I've been tempted to hover it, but I reckon it may face slowness in growth given new DS coming soon, assuming it will include this scene
