To my dismay, a very well packaged Ecto-1 was damaged during USPS transit. The container box looks like it was folded!!! The crease was so harsh that it cut into the bubble-wrapped Lego box inside. I was very UNHAPPY to receive what WAS a brand new looking box! I guess the big FRAGILE meant nothing to these individuals handling some one else's item.

Not the best savings but the following is what I picked up at my local BAM: $9 - 79119 Ninja Turtles Mutation Chamber Unleashed (clearance table) $12.58 - 75036 Star Wars UTAPAU Troopers $24.28 - 75080 Star Wars AAT

$62 NIB (I hope!) 8087 TIE Defender.

Several Seattle Space Needles because all but 1 were gone since last night, at the local BAM. I should have grabbed them last night but was unsure about the purchase. Oh well.

Went back to local BAM to grab 3 or more Seattle Space Needles, they were all gone. Last night they had 5. Found 1 in the back so I left with it for $17.99

Thank you all that replied to my SSN inquiry - the responses were most helpful. Seems it (the SSN) is selling for a little more than what I can get it - I think I will go ahead and grab at least 2 and wait awhile to see what they do. I am new to all of this, just joined this site last night and the SSN will be my 2nd potential 'investment' purchase for me. Thank you all, again.

My local BAM still has these for $19.40 out-the-door with my membership - is this still a bargain worth stocking up on?

Today I picked up the following two items: 42036 Street Motorcycle - Target 21301 Ideas Birds - Amazon.com I am very happy with each purchase and torn to open the motorcycle and build it or sit and admire for a little longer, in the box.

This site was brought to my attention from a family member / avid Lego aficionado. I am very eager and interested in learning more about the pursuit in Lego collecting and had to go dig out my 5 year old opened box series 2 mini figures (removed 1 complete set for myself of course) before registering. After reading a blog on this site I ran out and purchased a couple of goodies, in my opinion: 42036 Street Motorcycle, mainly because I have been riding motorcycles for over 20 years 21301 Ideas Birds - well these just look like very nice set of Lego birds I look forward to reading much more material on this site and will learn quite a bit I am sure.
