  1. Poe no mo. All gone.
  2. I am not too sure where to put this, but the Disney Store is having a 25% sale and it appears to apply to Lego. I put an item in my bag and applied the code and it worked. Again, not sure I am putting this in the right place but I wanted to pass it along. ** looks like there are only 9 Lego items in the store though. The Quinjet City Chase and Avengers Tower. Several books but it didn't look like the discount code applied to the books.
  3. I simply asked for an unopened box. They had no more in stock and offered the discount. I did not ask for it. i did accept it however and thanked them for their assistance with my purchase. I don't feel I did anything wrong in asking for an unopened box. I did not inventory the box until it was determined there would not be a replacement. I then checked to be sure everything was there, fortunately it was. Duly noted. This is why we come here, to learn. Thanks for the tips.
  4. I also ordered from the Target ebay store and it arrived with the seals popped. I contacted them about this and they offered to give me a refund but there were no more to be had so I kept it and they game me 20% refund. So not a bad deal in the end. The box is in great shape other than the seal tape being popped form the cold weather I assume.
  5. I received my Tumbler from target yesterday and the seals had been popped loose. I have contacted them to see about a replacement, however since I do not see them listed on their eBay store anymore I highly doubt I can get it replaced. From what I am reading, as long as all of the pieces are accounted for I will still be able to offer this as new in box for resale some day?
  6. Well I am new to the Lego for profit side of things having only just returned to Lego, but I think since you really don't know if all of the pieces are there that your really looking at this from a bulk per pound Lego purchase. Typically I have seen bulk Lego selling for an average of $10 per pound. I may be off base here but his price of $3,700 seems high based on this.
  7. Hello Brick Pickers. (Stands up) My Name is Chris and I am a Brickaholic. It has been less than 2 hours since I last purchased Lego(Monster Minifigure) I am 48 and recently began building Lego again with my almost 9 yr old Daughter. She had a girl set that we have played off and on for a few years but in December we discovered Simpsons Minifigures and Monster Minifigures at the local stores. We were hooked. Christmas I have purchased The Lego Movie Batman andgry kitty attack block, the Lego Movie double decker couch, The Hobbit ,Witch-king Battle, The Hobbit attack on Lake town, The Hobbit Lonely Mountain, City Snow Plow Truck, City Service truck(the port potty was the draw for us LOL), Santas Workshop, The Hobbit Dol Guldur Ambush, and many many minifigures. I also purchased 5 pounds of used bricks from a local seller group at a very reasonable price. Today I was lucky to get a copy of The Hobbit Unexpected Gathering form a Member of this forum, which is how I found out about the forum. So, long and short of it, the dark ages are now light. I look forward to reading and learning from the members of this forum.
