Looks like this will top at 175 - 200 Euro at the end of 2017. Luckily the new 2017 replacement model is crap compared to 42025, and 175 Dollar is still a price most people can afford...

350 Euro or 375 Dollar possible at the moment. Wonder if I should wait or unleash my army... Many idiots also selling for 275 oder 300.... crazy!

If I would sell in overseas, I would have done the same. But I do not want to sell for 180 Euro, if the price at LEGO Shop at Home was 120 Euro... That's not even 50% margin, if you consider those prices. I stepped in at 70 Euro nevertheless, but why should I throw my money down the drain?

All in - kept them for Xmas 2017. Gambling, but I assume there will be nothing comparable in 2017. Prices in Europe still low compared to USA.

Back to topic!?!? I would suggest to clean the thread to the last posting concerning 10236 - otherwise this thread is ready for the bin...

I was convinced about 10225, and I was very lucky. But this time, I changed my mind. I sold the 2 I've got, and I'm glad they are gone. In comparison to 10221 this set is just a pain in the... And now I have 1000 dollars which I can put into Tie Fighter for example. Easier to ship, easier to store, and mostly easier to sell. Most people don't know about the revival of the death star here, so I bet the prices from EUR 449 will fall down to 400 or even below, when the new set is announced. If I had a time machine, I would have purchased even more AT-AT instead of the 2 Death Stars.... ^^

To my point of view there is far too much skirl in this discussion. I got 2 boxes of 10188 - and I will never ever sell them now. Maybe in 2-3 years, who knows. I have paid 2/3 of the retail price, and it will NEVER reach this price again. So I have no problem keeping it.

Prices are not really nice atm. Already sold some for 400 bugs, but atm I can be happy if I get 300 for it... Guess I will have to wait till September to throw out the rest...

I have "only" 2 of them, and I guess it is okay the way it is. I purchased them for -27% off the retail price, so I doubt they will ever fall below this price.
