A CT I went to to clear the last AT-AT still had a bunch of 75004 HeadHunter at 30$ CAD and Spider Droid 75016 at 20$. Are these worth stocking up on? I'm thinking yay on the headhunter and nay on the droid but I'm not certain. Thanks.

I really wanted one for myself, it's a beautiful set but still a big chunk of money. The sale made it sweeter.
-
Same here, I actually only wanted one for my collection, I think it looks neat.

I'm so jealous, no time to check the stores lately so I can't waste time just hanging out WMs. Can't wait until they are released officially!

I registered a bunch of email addresses to their newsletter and each time they provide a free shipping code

Currently 15% and more on most/all LEGO. + code LEGOSAVE10 to get 10$ off a 50% purchase. I ordered the T-rex tracker for myself, because I also save an additional 10% on taxes because I'm in Quebec.

Cleared my cookies and now it shows up at the right price. Thanks!

The sale for this week is live. 20% on City/Classic/Superhero. However it seems to be malfunctionning a little bit. The prices are lowered but not slashed (looks like normal font, but with reduced prices). I want to buy the Avenger Tower, it shows the reduced price on the browsing page but it's at the higher price in my cart. Anybody get that?

I think the old cineplex code only worked on stuff that had a regular price under 120$ (I think). I believe the same principle applies here with this new one but I could be wrong. It works for me on other stuff.

I used to check the Canadian Tire website for LEGO periodically. I hadn't checked in maybe 3 weeks but this morning I found they listed a lot of LEGO on their online store. If there will be sales that remains to be seen but they have 317 items now instead of the old 30-40.

I hope they're not the 3 water damaged ones I returned when they left them outside on delivery!
-
One of my local ones has some on sale. Keep in mind they start at around 10% higher than MSRP at mine.
-
Same here, Alot of Chima ice mech, TIE advanced, Giraffe and a Ninjago bad guy mech. I don't even want to buy a bunch to resell them, I just want one at "retail" price
-
I got 3 that were left. Thanks.

For some reason, their delivery instructions (and I hadn't noticed before on other packages) to Canada Post was "leave at door" I had seen on the tracking information when it was out for delivery, while looking at the rain from my office and was silently cursing. So the freight company did their job as Walmart asked. Usually Canada Post either leave it in the community mailbox or they card my door.. Anyhow it's no big loss, even if it was a deal I was half regretting it because I wanted to put my money elsewhere

I ordered three Attack on Lake-Town two weeks ago. They left them out in the heavy rain, Boxes and manual were ruined. I returned them even though I could probably have done something with the parts I didn't have the heart for part it out..

Now if they could share and LEGO would contract the TRU sales team so that we don't have a barren "Sales and Deals" page..

I'm very happy about that Lego Movie / Ultra Agents week. I really like the Ultra Agent sets (for my personal collection) and I know the Cloud Cuckoo Palace will make a nice gift for my daughter. So I'll probably be getting the Palace, Infearno interception and the Toxic Meltdown for that sweet hazmat guy. Sign me up for the Brick Bounty has well, maybe. However I have a feeling it will go out of stock really quick..

Hi everyone. I'm a bit new here but I think this is the right thread to ask this. I'm not a huge Ebay seller (I have 44 feedback, all positive). I sold a Shock Clone Trooper minifig to somebody. So we're talking about a 10$ sale or something. That person has a (1) rating. They got the figurine but say the helmet was missing. I'm positive the helmet was there. I told them to check the packaging and make sure as I do not have an extra red helmet laying around, and I put the helmet on the head to prevent crushing. The fig is also in a small ziplock bag. Assuming they stick to their story and the helmet is nowhere to be found. What would you do? Reimburse and move on, or stick to your guns??? This is my first "complaint" so I'm a bit at a loss. Thanks for the tips.

Just a heads-up, I'm not sure if this is well-known but I'll share anyway. I never ordered from London Drugs before, I found their shipping minimum a bit too high. Either way, I added 200$ worth of Lego, proceeded to checkout with a guest email address and I changed my mind and didn't order anything, closed the window and let it be. 3-4 days later, I received an email and they gave me a code for free shipping, referring my order and the 200$ worth of stuff I left in it. For fun I went back using the same browser, my items were still in my cart and even when going below the 200$ limit, the shipping was still free when I applied the coupon. So if you want something from there for yourself and like me, there are no London Drugs in Quebec, then the 15% sale becomes 25% or so because of the no-tax. I'm not sure if they always send a coupon or not, so your mileage may vary.

Investment wise, what do you guys think of the Demolition line? Is it the usual "stay away from City" or do the more uncommon vehicules like the Bulldozer and the Demolition Site warrant interest?? Thanks.
-
They show up on the "splash" screen, but don't once you go into the details and add them into your basket. It's weird. When I search for "lego" and just scroll through the sales filter I see 140 different items for sales, once I find one I like and click on it, the sale doesn't show up in the details. It says the sales ends on April 6th which is today, it's a strange way to "time" things if it's a mistake.

TRU.ca off Select SW, Super Heroes, and City Sets (Mar 27-Apr 2)
Buckette replied to Sandwraith's topic in Canada
Worked on 3315 - Olivia's House. Really strange that it doesn't work on Duplo as this kind of throws out the Age Range flag theory.
